Size is right on, sounds great, but ball end wrapping too big to get through the bridge holes
Whomever is making these for Morrell, they need to pay more attention to the tail end of the twist that keeps the ball on. I had two strings in the first set I opened where there was a bit of string sticking up where the ball end string twist stops, making it impossible for me to put it through my bridge hole. They were both unwound strings. It wasn't enough of a tail for me to get a pair of flush sidecutters onto, nor could I compress it enough with pliers to make it go. Finally had to enlarge the hole a bit to get the two through. Strings sound great, but what good is it if you have to modify your instrument a hair to get them on. Probably will not be buying this brand again.

Nice sound
I put these on a lap steel I just purchased and they sound so much better than what was on there.

Not impressive, somewhat suspicious.
I was unaware that the "G" was wound and not plain when I ordered. Tuning it up to G# and it broke on the saddle. I don't think that's too much to ask from any string. The strings all together are not real punchy or bright. And why oh why would the "Morrell" brand name not include a mailing address on their package? Answer: nobody is gonna ever want more of these cheap stupid strings. Stay safe and buy Ernie Ball or GHS or D'addario or any other big name string, at least the big brands are consistent.

You get what you pay for
I can not recommend this product. I bought it to replace the strings on a Rogue RS-1 lap steel guitar because the strings that came with it were not suitable for open G tuning. When shipping was added in these strings were the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. The lower two strings have the dullest tone of any strings I've bought in over fifty years of playing guitar. They do seem to hold tuning, but the fifth and sixth string just go thud.

Robert Randolph Stubbs bar
First time using a bar or even playing lap steel. It has a good weight and is very comfortable to use.
