So why the difference?** A: Hi Trevor,the difference is that the 5yr Bluecol uses organic acid Technology (OAT) wereas the 2yr does not. I bought the 2yr Bluecol for my wife's Morris Minor because I was told that the Minor's engine is not compatable with OAT. I don't know why this but I thought that in this case it was better to stay on the safe side. Regards Andrew **Q: Can I use this for bmw 1 series** A: BMWs have specific coolant requirements (nitrite and phosphate free) to prevent build-up and corrosion of aluminum components, so not just any off-the-shelf antifreeze will do. Bluecol 2 year is usually used for classic car engines, I use it for an engine made in 1946. So: I would suggest that you do not use it for a BMW. **Q: Is this okay to use in a 1984 jaguar XJ6** A: I am using it in a 1961 Jaguar Mk2, also with the same XK engine.
