I have been waiting for this book for what seemed like forever. I did a happy dance when it hit my kindle. Yes I love this series that much. One more fan girl thing before I start this review.....I want to bite the shoulders of the cover model. LOL.Angel Savary is a doctor who very dedicated to his work. He has made it his mission to find out where human females were being inseminated with Pantera sperm.Indy is a human female who kidnaps Angel in an attempt to get him to help a very sick little girl.His has betrayed his family of shifters to help the enemy for a wrong he thought was done to his biological family. Then he ends up getting captured by a different enemy and his being held to have test run on his blood.Gia is being held in the cage next to Hiss. They become friends. When the bad guys come to take her to a different prison she understands that they are going to try to impregnate her with human sperm.I have been waiting for the story since he made in appearance in this series. It does not disappoint.

I really like this series so automatically I purchased this book. Angel' s story was pretty straightforward he dedicated his life to healing due to his parents dying early. First his father and later on his mother. He devoted his time to finding out who was using Puma sperm and why. He uncovered much more labs using humans and Puma. He is taken prisoner by one of its former lab rats. As fate would have it she is his mate. They together have vowed to find out who this monster is and destroy all of his labs. Hiss was known from previous books as a traitor to his Puma family. He believed that the elders destroyed his family and lied about it so revenge he wanted to destroy the Puma. He has captured by the monster of the lab and is being used as lab rat. He meets his mate who is also a Puma whose blood is also being taken. One day they decided that they are going to use her as breeder. Hiss and she escaped and takes her back to the wild lands. He tells her about his past and he held prisoner. Things heat up from there. I have enjoyed reading this series.

I have to tell you how amazing these girls are. I've read every single story of theirs I can get my hands on. The are hot sexy and don't let you go for a second. I LOVE this bayou series so much I hope it never ends!!! Try this series if you haven't before then try their other series because this is just the tip of the ice berg with these ladies. Boxset 7 gives us the stories of Indy and Angel and Hiss and Gia. Angel is a doctor and Indy is part of a small group of shifters who were experimented on but escaped. The youngest is a child and is very sick. Indy captures Angel and takes him to the child to try and cure her. They end up back in the Wildlands and fall in love. Hiss had betrayed the Pantera but ended up a captive. The Pantera female in the next cage is tortured and experimented on like he is along with several other captive Pantera and humans. Hiss becomes her rock and they help each other maintain their sanity. Eventually Hiss and Gia escape and he goes back to the Wildlands to get help for the others. Excellent read.

We also learned a little bit more about Locke, it will be interesting to see how everything with Chelsea spans out.I’m intrigued as to what is really going on beyond Locke, and who is actually behind everything.Hiss (Bayou Heat: Book 14)4.50 starsI have been looking forward to Hiss’s book since he was first introduced…what can I say…I like the bad boys. Hiss though has layers, and you could see from the beginning that he had a lot of issues he had to work through…but under that hard exterior is a big cuddly kitty cat.Oh and plot twist…I knew Hiss had something to do with Christopher bit I NEVER thought it would be that.Overall this was a great book and addition to the series and I highly recommend reading this series as well as any others by these authors.
