I got these to do watercolor holiday cards. These are really great for the price, but don't expect amazing watercolor paper. They hold up well for washes and they are cheap enough that I wasn't concerned about letting the kids make some cards as well.

I returned the cards as soon as they arrived. The ink lines in the back shine through too much, it would be better if done in a lighter tone. The main reason however was the branding and website for the cards on the back, for $40 of paper stock I'm not interested in advertising your product.

I like the 4 x 6 size. The 100% cotton is wonderful. This paper works for ink drawings as well as painting with watercolor. I’m still on my first batch but I will definitely be reordering as needed. One of the best things about this paper is that you can see it being demonstrated on the Etchr videos. How great! The Etchr community also includes groups where you can post your work for feedback. The postcards themselves are very good. The problem is that the pages are nearly impossible to separate. I just finished destroying one, and nearly cutting my finger in the process. Hence, only three stars.

I was hoping to use these for gouache and watercolor paintings but the card stock is not as thick as I expected.

I was using watercolor postcards from another company and they were made of paper pulp. I was very discouraged because the watercolor was very difficult to manage. I ordered these and because they are cotton, you can do a lot of work with the watercolor. Very satisfying.. I entered one of my watercolor postcards in an art show.

Love these for all my encouragement card! Good quality and pretty great price!
