Starting a Pop-up Tradition
Bought this to start a Christmas gift tradition of Pop-up books for my grandson. Still needs to be handled under supervision due to his age but he was mesmerized by the various actions that happen with each turn of the page. Robots are always a cool subject with kids (and adults) of all ages. I collect Pop-ups myself and look forward to adding to his collection with some of the great titles that are available and amaze me with their construction as well.

A marvellous pop-up book
This is a great book with a great theme. The idea of robots in pop-up goes very well with the concept The author is so talented and creative and the last page about the robot that grows out of the spread is just genius. I totallu recommand it.

A 3D adventure story!
I just love pop-up books! There aren’t many words in this book, but it still tells an adventure story. I’m a big fan of robots so I really liked this book and the pop-up images were 3D which was nice. The first page shows several robots, but they almost look like skyscrapers. One of the pages has mountains in the back made me think of a Minecraft world since the pop-ups were made with cubes. The words have a nice rhythm to them and they rhyme too. There are a lot of interjections included in the words which make the story a little bit like a poem. My favorite page has pop-up gears that spin as the page is opened or closed. It seems like it would be difficult to make that kind of a pop-up and the creator must be very talented. The story is about robots and water as the title says. The robots don’t like water because they are metal and metal rusts when wet. So the robots have to go to the doctor to get repaired. The last page will let the reader know if they are fixed or if the rain was too much for them. Children from age 3 through 8 would enjoy this book.Review by Hayden S, age 7, Southeastern Michigan Mensa

My son is in love with this vibrant and interactive book!
The design of this book is enchanting and beautiful. My son has read it to everyone he can convince to sit in front of him, at least 3 times over. I would even venture to say it's his new favorite book. Great for kids 3+, if you're kid is well versed on how to treat books properly. The quality of this book is superb--thick, vibrant paper, well constructed pop-up designs, fun rhyming story... Very happy I purchased this for my robot-obsessed preschooler : )
