Stephen Shore: Survivors in Ukraine

It's a huge understatement to say that the photos and accompanying text in this book are very poignant. Also, I greatly admire Stephen Shore for his passion and efforts in spending so much time and energy meeting all of the people portrayed in the book. Shortly after the book's publication, I was grateful for the opportunity to attend a lecture/book-signing at the NY Public Library.

I've been researching our family history in Ukraine and traveled there for 3 weeks before finding this book. I could relate to many of the pictures and while the book is nicely put together, my preference would be for more descriptions to go along with each of the photos.
