These are small enough to fit closer to the cross bracing on a truss, so you can space your fixtures better. Because they are plastic, they won't leave marks on the truss. This is exactly what I was looking for. They appear to still be sturdy enough for most modern light-weight LED pars and effect fixtures. They work with both 2" and 1.5" in truss, by adding the included plastic spacers that snap in.

My telescope tripod's lower leg lock had to be tightened really hard to keep from slipping under a lot of weight so I wanted a backup clamp to give me confidence when putting a heavy telescope on it. These fit the 1.5" diameter tripod legs perfectly and a few turns of the T-handle goes from sliding smoothly up/down to clamping firmly enough that there's no way it will slip. I just slide these clamps up the tripod leg until they but up against the factory clamp and tighten them. After that I can put the telescope on the tripod with no worry of it slipping.

These are my new favorite clamps!! These are exactly what you need when you need things like this. Very sturdy, easy to use with 3 different sizes built in. Easily clamp to a speaker pole or other standard rigging truss or even speedrail.

Easy setup

So. These are great n stuff. And are the fastest clamps. And all of them work. In fact you can change the bolts with smaller or thinner size like i did. Cause the bolts didnt fit in some of the cheaper lights i got. But. Its still not easy.There is a huge opertunity for some company. My biggest challenge is. The feeling it takes three hands to hang a light. Other clams you hang the light and screw. This you kindnof un screw. Hold the light with one hand. Wish you had a third hand. Atach a bolt. Then screw. Im making itBut the issues is the bolt that attches the two sides together. Its just a bit too short. Like when you unscrew it you have to be on the last couple of threads. And half the time it falls off. And this was the same for me. My wife. A guy who helped at a gig. Its like the bolt in constantly falling. And when your 14 feet up it sucks.The build is good. Its solid. But make the bolt longer. So. Im still a lazy. ADDHD american. I want instant gratification. And playing with claps is the least exciting theing in the World. It feels like my life is passing. However i can spend twelve hours in font of the tv doing nothing. ButSomone. Invent a clamp. That is one step. You hang in on the bar and it just latches. Im tired of screwing and unscrewing. And im not the only one. Im sure.

My concerns were my lights sliding and moving around. Nope, they stay right where I mount them. Plus the the tightening knob has a little latch that holds the opening in place when tightened. When removing, I have to use 2 hands to unlatch it which is smart so my lights won't move or fall without it somehow breaking completely.

They will hold any piece of equipment. My only beef with it is that if you put it on the frame first, it’s uncomfortable to screw the butterfly screw. If you put it in the light first, the it’s hard to hold the light while attaching it to the frame. Either way, they are very great

I am using this for something totally different from its intended purpose so its a little hard to comment on its function. However, in case you are interested, it fits nicely around the pole installed by my bed that is for assistance getting out of bed!
