Bought these for the sensory table at school, but had to try them out at home first. They got bigger than I expected which was nice. Great sensory and science experience. Even my family could not resist touching them. They do break easily, so I would not plan on having them around for multiple uses, but they are cheap enough to purchase again.In the classroom the children loved them. They liked checking them as they grew. We talked about gentle hand and experiments with holding and squeezing. I allowed them to purposefully break some to see what happens. Before putting them in the sensory table, I put some in individual containers and let the students use them as they wanted. Some got to experience what happens when they break all theirs and others, who are being more gentle, still play. We used them for scooping and pincer finger transfers and color sorting. We used 4 packets for 11 children. We also got to see what happened when we added water and let it dry out.When I finally added some to the sensory table, the children were fairly gentle (most of them anyway). I used 4 more packets and any intact left over from previous activity. It lasted a couple weeks. We started with 3 packets would periodically remove intact beads and empty contents and add a partial packet. The children also got to spray water from water bottles on the beads.

After seeing a girl in a group I'm in share these having them for sensory play for her child and raving about how fun they were plus the benefits of sensory play for kids, I had to find them and get some. There were multiple options from multiple sellers on Amazon and after reading reviews and comparing prices I chose these. I was satisfied with my purchase overall. Since I planned to open and use them all at once I would have preferred them not be packaged in individual bags as shown but I'm sure that would be preferable and beneficial to some. You have to be careful removing the bags from the board or you risk the bag ripping open and the beads getting loose everywhere. There were a variety of colors, I believe 2 of each. After a couple hours in water they grew and were fun and effective. The lasted quite awhile before shrinking. After purchasing these we wanted more and didn't want to wait for shipping so we got the brand name water beads, orbeez from Walmart. They were much higher in price and terrible quality compared to these. Most of them easily broke, many cracked and broke without touching them at all. Some never grew and the ones that did didn't grow as much as these ones and shrunk back down much quicker. I definitely recommend these or any other polymer water beads from this seller.

Our first two packets are almost ready for play and are turning out very well. A little color/size variation, but not much and still great for play. We had purchased these for party favors though and the packaging is not good at all if you are hoping to distribute the 24 packs to others. The 24 baggies are attached with adhesive to a cardboard backing. I tried very slowly and carefully to remove the bags and still had 3 of them break on me. Additionally, the directions on the bags are poorly written (and also are different than what is listed on amazon in the product description and a third set of directions is at the top of the cardboard backing), thus requiring me to print up directions to put in the party favor bag. The bags also don't list some of the key features for - like non-toxic, so I'm trusting that the amazon description is accurate. For use in one place these are great -- just be sure you are ready for spills of tiny beads from the bags as you are removing the bags from the cardboard.

These are very similar to Orbeez but they are a little bit different. I bought them as a refill for my daughter's Orbeez Crush and they work perfectly for that, since the point of that is to smoosh them. However these vary from Orbeez in a few ways. First Orbeez are more uniform in size and color. This is not really a big deal but in each bag there were always a few beads that turned out to be a different shade than the rest. Also they wouldn't all grow to the same size, mostly the same but not all. And these beads when grown do break and crack easier than Orbeez. Most times after soaking a pack a few would already be broken whereas I have not had that happen with Orbeez. Overall though for the price these simply can't be beat. The colors are great and you get a good amount for the price.

These things are a blast! I emptied 10 of the 20 packs from the board in a one gallon jug and it barely covered the bottom about 1/2 a centimeter thick. I came back about four hours later and literally laughed out loud when I saw that the jug was now filled to the brim with these little jello balls. My five year old daughter and I filled up a big bowl with them and had a blast bouncing them around, picking out weird shaped oddities, and just playing around. We had many laughs! I highly recommend these! Good, inexpensive fun! I don't, however, recommend putting one in the microwave. The thing went off like a bomb! Ok, maybe it was a bit fun......

These are such a better deal than orbeez! They work perfectly and you can see change in an hour.Pros: You can play with these a lot, They get bigger than expected, and are a great deal. great for plants or play!Cons: They do squish and can get wasted that way.Over all these were a TON of fun and so much better than orbeez!!! They are the exact same except for the money. Defiantly much cheaper! This is a great deal and you should definitely consider buying these!

Do not buy this!!!They r ripping u off!! The colours are absolutely faded once they r grown. My Advice: you can find a seller on Amazon that sells 6 a jets for approximately 115rs. If you want 24 packets than buy 4 of those. Do the math. It cost less than half the price of this for 24 packs of those.
