Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick (37 - Bittersweet)

I purchased the black color lipstick for my Halloween costume. It went on smooth and gave a good coverage. Cheaper black lipsticks need coat after coat but this one only really needed one or two applications. It didn't feel heavy or waxy. It stayed on unless I drank or ate. It did not get on my teeth or in any fine lines. I think it was well worth the price.

This is a gorgeous shade of red. I love the color, the price is great, it shipped very quickly & it's very moisturizing for a matte lipstick. It would get a perfect rating if it lasted longer. I haven't tried it yet with primer or anything under the lipstick, but just the lipstick comes off almost instantly. Blotting doesn't help it last any longer. It smears under any gloss applied on top of it & transfers to anything my lips touch. I still rate it highly, though, because I love the shade, the lipstick applies/reapplies very easy & I can extend the color life by drinking through a straw and/or carefully eating small bites of food with a fork.

I was looking for a good purple lipstick to replace my favorite Revlon Purple shade which they no longer make. While it looked good on the computer, in real life this product isn't very good.1. When I opened it the lipstick was stuck in the lid, not on the bottom side. I pried it out and pieced it back together.2. The color is more gray/purple.I guess it's just old stuff. Kept it for creepy color for Halloween for the kids as opposed to an every-day color for an adult

The color shown on the website looks matte and very rich in color. I was excited to try this product because I had been searching for a deep rich red color for the longest time. Well the product was neither rich in color or matte. It was more on the creamy glossy side and the color wasn't what I thought it would be. The lipstick was very creamy in texture and it applied effortlessly. However, it had a nasty taste and I didn't care for the smell either. I look forward to a more matte texture in future purchases and hopefully no aftertaste.

I bought 4 colors because of the awesome price and non-drying ingredients. I hate to buy lipstick online because you can't test the colors until delivery, and you generally can't return a lipstick once you've tried it. This online experience has not disappointed me! I have medium tan skin with natural lip colors that range from dark pink to brownish red, and I've been looking for good colored lipsticks to create a natural makeup look in a long time. The only experience that caused me to knock off a star was that 3 out of 4 of my lipsticks were overfilled and stuck to the lipstick top. It's kinda a bummer to see a blunted lipstick tip staring back at you the first time you open up the thing!

#22 terracotta red is my favorite lip color. I have 4 colors now and like them all but this is my favorite. I have brown skin (similar to cream in coffee) and this color looks like the Crayola color burnt sienna. It's natural looking and beautiful! I can wear it daily. It goes on creamy and leaves a slight stain which I like after it wears off. I now have 4 colors and they are fantastic lipsticks. The best matte lipsticks I ever wore that looks good and feels creamy on your lips. I'm happy I bought this.

It's matte so make sure you are looking for something that comes on with chalkiness texture. It's not a bad thing! Not like normal smoothed on lipstick, this one doesn't have shine but it definitely makes the lips bold and the dark statement is very flattering. Even though the pastiness of applying it takes getting used to it's worth it. I use my sister's method: apply chapstick first, then it will go on smoothly and keep its dark look. Gorgeous!

Ok quality lipstick, but the colour is absolutely nothing like the swatch shown. I bought colour 03 (Golden Rose), which despite the name showed on the swatch as a blue based fleshy mauve- exactly what I was looking for. What turned up is a yellow based sandy/peach colour. I'm not sure if the swatch picture has been labelled incorrectly, but what was shown on Amazon and what turned up are vastly different in colour. One of the risks of buying cosmetics online I guess.

Love it!! Beautiful colour it's like a flushed rose nude. However it is veryyy matte so I'd reccomend making sure ur lips are scrubbed and moisturised beforehand

The quality of this product is poor as the lipstick fell out when I opened this for the first time. Therefore I probably wouldnt order this brand again, as now I can' t twist the lipstick very far up as it isnt attached!! However this lipstick came quite quickly (1 week) and is a lovely colour.

Gorgeous, love this matte colour, not dry at all! Long-lasting!Edit:I've been using it for a couple of years now, I'd definitely recommend it!

I found the colour really ugly and did not match the one in the picture, so I had to throw it away :(What a waste of money! I will never buy a lipstick online again.

Just like the other review. I ordered it hoping for what the picture showed but it turned out a peachy colour which doesn't suit me at all. Don't buy this expecting what is shown. If you after a peachy colour then this would be perfect I guess.

The colour is gorgeous and exactly the same as in the picture. It's of an amazing quality and I will by buying it again in the future.
