New stock is a LET DOWN, images of old vs.new stock for comparison
I had re-ordered this product only to be disappointed. My experience with this product first time was stock of March 2020 which was HEAVENLY, unbelievable in every sense compared to other cotton papers in same price range.BUT.......this time, new stock of September 2020 arrived, differently textured and plain disappointing. I tried it a few times thinking hopefully it's an improved product, transitioning to this new paper after its previous version is a let down. It's not an improvement(not for me at least). The drastic difference in texture made most the difference to me, from starting to paint to finish, rest other supplies being same as before. It's just behaves like every other mediocre boring watercolor paper on the market. It's not as good as its own original version, in texture, overall feel, look of result. Uneasy to work on, the absorbancy of water is ugh, despite being the same product from same brand, even the dispersion of my colors is disappointing on this paper compared to its previous version, which was super fun pattern, superfluous. Whatever made it special, unique to work with is gone. Anyway don't let this stop you from trying it out. What works for you, might not work for me. The supplier actually listened to me, offered to refund, but couldn't help much as there's no old stock now. Hope the brand, manufacturer listens to consumers. I've tried my best to capture this difference between in my images.

Perfect for purpose
Very good paper both for dry and wet watercolor. Holds water and paint nicely. Perfect for wet on wet. Good for graphite pencil shetch too. Only for intense shades of the sides shows a slanted line pattern which is undesirable. Nevertheless it's highly recommend for watercolor painting and sketches enthusiasts

Good paper
Good paper if u want 100 % cotton cold press paper from India. Colour doesnโt dry lighter.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Avoid if possible.
For a 100% cotton 300 gsm paper this specimen is totally dreadful. It absorbs water unevenly leading to a splotch appearance of the colour. Further if you apply water upon the paper for wet application the pits upon the paper become accentuated. This again leads to uneven blotched colour. It is disappointing that after investing heavily in the pencil drawing the paper turns out ineligible for smooth watercolour application. I have tried the Brustro paper and that is many miles ahead of this paper.Avoid this paper if you can. I don't know how I'll finish the entire bunch.

Amazing and So satisfying
I usually do not write a review but I couldn't stop myself after using this.I got it today and one I saw the rough texture, I felt how absorbent it is, in a fraction of second I knew what I'm gonna paint on it, and the result turned out to be amazing. For sure It's not too much absorbant but I would say once you develop an estimation of its absorbency, you can achieve amazing results.Definitely 5 stars, too happy with this.

Great product!
Amazing product. Though packaging could have been better it was slightly bent on the side but still just minor thing.Wayyyyy better than brustro watercolor paper. It holds water well and is good product for beginners like me. I have many pictures on instagram's art page - "artsy_aba" using this paper.Slightly higher in price range but i think one of the best u can find in India.

Garbage! Too absorbent.
Ink, watercolour and gouache all blot on this paper, it immediately absorbs water. Terrible quality.

Highly recommended. Check out the pictures.
Best product I need more of this in my life but it's sad they have been under 'currently unavailable ' even since I ordered. I have used them for both water and acrylic color. Suitable for both.
