Great book on Man Ray
My daughter is so pleased with this book that she received last Christmas. She is in college studying art education and Man Ray is one of her favorite artists.

Love Man Ray, and he was an American, changed art. More revolutionary than Andy Warhol. Great service, Thank You

One of the best and most complete books about Man Ray's works
This is a beautiful book printed and bound in Italy on thick matte paper. The book shows the work of Man Ray (photos, objects, paintings) as well as the work of other artists , such as Picasso and Marcel Duchamp, in order to place the work of Man Ray in a context. It is very well organised in different sections where you will find plenty of information about Man Ray's works as well as illustrations and photos. There are four academic texts but you can easily ignore them because they have their own sections ( a yellow page introduces each section).Short texts written by Man Ray about his work are spread along the book. The section "Goddesses and Models", for example, is like this:It has about 60 pages withabout 30 to 40 photos of female nudes with a few lines of information about each photo. The photos are of varied size and many of them occupy the whole page.about 20 to 30 women's portraitsa couple of illustrationsseveral photos of pages of photographic albumsa few photos of objectsThe very first page of the section has a full page photo of "Le Violon d'Ingres" which is also on the dust cover of the book. There is a text, written by Man Ray, about the photo on the following page. (The only thing I didn't like about the book is that, if I remove the dc I see a quite dull hard cover with no illustrations, just Man Ray's name on the side of the book)The printing quality of the photos, in general, is very good and the photo of Lee Miller standing half naked near a window, for example, is of far better quality than the same photo in the mediocre "Man Ray Portraits" published by Taschen. This book, published in 2011, was part of the exhibition "Man Ray" organised by the Museo d'Arte of Lugano, Italy.

Poco intrigante
Scritto bene, ma un po noioso, non attizza, argomento delicato che doveva, secondo me essere piu ironico e fruibile
