I purchased 2 of this boxes. I know I should have checked out their design first. They do not comply with RSPB design advice etc. These are barely acceptable as garden ornaments.Pros: short term decorationCons; wrong hole size/shape for bird use, and with perch peg he box is food heaven for predators should a bird decide to nest there. Material is flimsy wood and the hanging hole totally unsuitable and allows water ingress. Finish is basic emulsion high odour which is totally unsuitable for outdoors and use on a bird house.My advice is check out the RSPB website for advice and design guidance firstThankfully the seller and Amazon accepted return and refunded me

The heart is not cut out precisely and I am disappointed but the birds won’t mind that when nesting. The photo advertising this product was not the same quality as item received. If I had known it was not good quality I would have bought a plain bird box for less money tbh.

The item arrived promptly and in perfect condition - it was exactly as described . This is a pretty little birdhouse which due to the neutral colours ( ie shabby chic/ off white ) fits in well with my little yard and stands out against my pale lemon walls and amongst my array of flowers . It is rustic , simple and just perfect ! Very happy with my order and can recommend Garden Mile ! 😊

I bought 2 of these bird nesting boxes, they arrived promptly & were well packaged. They seem very good quality, taking into account the very reasonable price. They have been put up in my garden and have been very much admired. I look forward to seeing them occupied.

Lovely looking bird boxes but after 6 months they have become unstuck from each other, have started splintering and peeling and the paint is flaking off.

Pretty bird box. Not much weight to it, but hoping, like my existing bird box, it will be used for nesting, as gives a lot of pleasure to me & the birds!

Small bird house but well made. Happy with purchase
