The Cold War Years: Flight Testing at Boscombe down 1945-1975 Hardcover – 19 Sept. 2001

Tim Mason has the credentials which produce scholarly works on this esoteric subject. One needs all three of his trilogy to have a complete resume of British aircraft testing from the interwar to cold war years. Sadly some sellers have excessively greedy attitudes regarding the value of this volume.

One of a series on activities at Boscombe Down done by Tim Mason in the Hikoki series, this book is much in need of a reprinting, with the content rearranged in the manner of the newer books in the series. That's the only reason not to give the book five stars, since the content itself is first rate.
