This case fits my Samsung Galaxy S5 perfectly and seems to offer a great deal of protection. I am very happy with it. The color is also great. I ordered the gray and teal. It is very pretty and I often get compliments on it. I am very hard on my cell phones and this case seems to be very durable. I've also found that I can keep some 'emergency' money in between the two pieces of the case (the teal piece goes on the phone and the gray pieces attached to the teal piece). You could probably fit a single credit card or your license in there too if you wanted.

Great case for an old phone!We gave our daughter an old phone of ours to use at home on the wifi. This case is perfect. Brightly colored, absorbs the shock of it being tossed and doesn't get in the way of charging/using the buttons.

An Otter Box this is not, but it's a fine look-alike for the price. The rubber portion is only about half as thick as my original Otter Box, which began to disintegrate after about six years. Also, the plastic shell extends only around the sides of the rubber casing, whereas my Otter Box shell extended around the top and bottom of the rubber casing as well as around the sides. Other reviewers complain about the case interfering with the power switch, but I do not have that problem. If you take the time to massage the rubber casing and the plastic shell around the power switch, you will find that the rubber power switch extension fits nicely into the slot of the plastic shell and extends out enough to be controlled quite nicely with index finger. I find the power switch function to be enhanced by the rubber power switch extension being framed by the plastic shell. Although the pictures show a no-skid rubber backing to the plastic shell, in fact the backing is a very rigid rubber at best, if it is rubber at all and not soft plastic. The case is thus not as grip-friendly as the photos would imply. One problem with this vendor is the use of a "bait and switch" technique which should be disallowed by Amazon. I rarely order any product that is both sold and shipped by a third-party vendor. Tekcoomall shows various color combinations selectable within this single listing. I pressed the "order" button for a gray/black color combo which showed as being fullfilled by Amazon...all good. Some time later I noticed a black/black color combo that I had not noticed before (shame on me for my original haste). I immediately cancelled the gray/black combo and ordered the black/black combo. Later, much to my dismay, I noticed that Tekcoomall was both the vendor and the shipper for the black/black color. That set me off, given the hassle of returns with third-party shipped merchandise. So I reverted back to my original choice of gray/black and cancelled the black/black in order to have the benefit of Amazon fullfillment. Somehow the vendor and/or Amazon were able to retrieve the third-party shipped black/black order from the carrier and Amazon fullfilled the gray/black order today. The end result is that I am very pleased with Tekcoomall/Amazon's effort to retrieve the cancelled product but am not happy that Tekcoomall attempted to sneak in third-party shipping with a mere color change of the same product. Overall I would definitely recommend this case for S5 users on a budget, especially those like me who have grown fond of Otter Box over the years.Edit: After two weeks use I can say that I really do like this case. The front interior rubber edges have settled in to touch the screen completely around all sides. The power button works better than that of my old expensive Otterbox because it protrudes through the case and is not hampered by an additional rubber covering. The grip of the phone is not as secure with this case, to be sure, because one grips plastic on the sides rather than rubber. So caution is advised to avoid dropping. But for the price, this case is fabulous! I ordered another one as a spare, just in case this model becomes unavailable. I may try to figure out how to coat the side plastic clamshell portion with something to make it less "slick." (I might even sand it with fine sandpaper; that would probably do the trick.)

I have an older Galaxy S5 cell phone it was nice to find a replacement case that is well made and durable

I have had this case since March 2015. I can not give enough stars to say how AMAZING this case is....and for the price it is UNBELIEVABLE!! I have dropped my phone I know at least 50-60 times (ne exaggeration) over the past year and a half, and not a scratch!!! I have literally dropped my phone and watched it bounce (yes as terrifying as it sounds it is true...bounce) at times up to 5-6ft away. At first I almost had a heart attack, but no longer. I have full confidence in this case. It is sturdy, tough, shock absorbent, easy to grip, attractive, and easy to put on and take off. I have never had a case for any phone to last as long as this one did ( I am currently still using it until my new phone comes in). I just bought a new iphone 7 and so I ordered a Tekcoo defender series for it......I have no worries that this case will be as great as the one that I purchased in 2015!

It also does not muffle the audio. Great for smaller hands too. Slightly tricky to open charger cover, but that is not a huge issue, but the case didn't make it hard. It's like a Otterbox Commuter, but no loss in quality. It took a while to arrive though. I have not seen any color rub off like other reviewers mentioned. I am returning the other 5 cases. This is the pink one but note the missing piece it's not the same one as in the picture...I have one an the rubber in mine is thicker an the shell is compleat so I feel frauded
