I am so glad to have this book. After years of trying to find Irish songs online, and being frustrated by bad formatting and wrong chords, to have a clear reference like this with all of my favorite songs in one volume is wonderful. I keep this in my guitar bag when heading out to sessions, and chuckle as I quickly find the song I want while my friends shuffle through reams of printouts and binders. The large print makes the words and chords nice and easy to see while playing as well, and the capo charts on every page are a great help. You can really tell that the author knows and loves this music, and that he put a lot of time into creating this songbook. Recommended!

I love the large print and each song being given in both C and G. The repertoire is awesome and the lyrics generally quite faithful.

Be aware this is a lyrics and guitar chords book. It has no written music as in notes to play.

I'm a beginner guitar player, and my guitar teacher and I used this to teach me chords - handily placed on each page - as well as strums and finger picking (not written). Has all the Celtic songs I know and a whole lot more!

Liked the Irish traditional music. Wasn’t as interested in some of the other Celtic music, but some was good. It was a good collection of “Celtic” music. I use it for performing music.

No need to buy any other Irish song book — it’s all here. Very user friendly hints about changing keys to accommodate different singers. Tremendous fun!
