It says in the description that this is Semi-Gloss. Can anyone confirm that or recommend a high gloss alternative please?

Yes it is a clear semi gloss finish. Tip I picked up from car touch up videos is to mix a couple drops into last colour coat and then a final top coat using this. Very good product.
