Wheelchair Amputee Board(Size=16 x 18)

I am recent amputee and getting support board in has been a real problem. it used to take two people, myself and another person to get the support board in place. Now all I have to do is slide the support board in and get on with my day. I am very pleased with this support board.update: 6/18/2018 I have to make careful transfers as the plywood base may shift. This will result in poor alignment with the wheelchair seat and put you at a list. You will have to get out of the wheelchair and align the amputee board again. Not a big issue given how easy it is to insert this board.update: 6-28-18 the base shifts from one side to the other depending on which way you use your transfer board. The shift in position makes for a lopsided sitting position until you make a change in the board. I am very disappointed in this feature of the board. it still works great to get that board in and out by myself. it does not stay in place when making transfers and is very annoying to have to reset the board all the time.

The product was well made, did its job but was expensive.

Well made. I'm a new amputee and this board makes all the difference in my comfort in using a wheelchair.
