I like it - especially the citrus (but it's personal taste)
I use this to tame my 'staches and edges of my goatee/van dyke beard, since I have basically a cowlick in my beard. I'm *not* trying to do extreme styling of my mustache. It works well for the purpose, definitely better than oil-based products I've used in the past - and better than a couple of (head) hair products like gels I've tried.I really like the smell of the citrus, and it didn't get cloying, but that is completely personal taste. The other scent smells good at first, but I got/get tired of smelling it several hours later. If you like that scent, you won't mind it :).

Good product but Understand what your buying.
Scent - sandlewood scent is almost non-existent which is ok as it goes with any scent beard oil and/or cologne. Citrus scent is a bit stronger. Has a fresh, clean scent but not overpowering. Being citrus I only pair it with other citrus products.Conditioning - works great as a conditioner but it take awhile for it to soak into the whiskers which is linked to it's holding ability. I find I get best results from this wax if I don't use an oil or a balm in my mustache.Hold - this is a light hold wax which can help in training the mustache to a basic shape. If your looking for a sharp handlebar this product isn't going to do the job. That being said, it's good for beginners to learn how to use wax. The stronger hold waxes can be frustrating to a beginner. As the conditioner part of this wax soaks into the whiskers it will lose about half of its holding power. It takes about 3 hours for it to soak in and it takes about 4ish hours before I want to do a touch up. The touch ups I do is mostly on the bottom of the mustache to catch the whiskers starting to drop down over my lip.Size - ppl have complained about the size of the containers. If you read the description it says .5 oz and you get 2 of them. That's 1oz all together which is what you'd get from other company's waxes. 1oz of wax used daily lasts me several months. The small .5 oz containers are perfect for pocket take alongs for occasional touch ups.Price - at less than 9 dollars this is inexpensive and does a fairly decent job for what it is. Other companies will charge $15 and up for 1oz of wax.Application - ppl have complained about drying white. You have to warm this up between your fingers before use and it's best to comb the wax through the whiskers before it starts to dry. This will keep it from leaving visable white residue. It's by far the easiest wax to use as it melts easily and helps beginners learn to use wax properly.Re-buy? - I'll keep this on hand for days when I don't want or need my mustache to be perfect but still want to keep the whiskers out of my mouth.

Perfect wax for beginners or veterans who want a soft hold
This is by far the best wax for two types of users: 1) beginners needing to learn to use mustache wax and 2) those of us who don’t want a hard wax.For the beginners, it’s easy to use, comes with a guitar pick that you use to scoop a little bit out and is mostly error proof in the application. So, if you’re new to waxing your caterpillar, this is an excellent choice. Buy it, learn your own technique with wax and then move up the line in hardness if you so desire. For those who have been using waxes for a while but don’t want a hard wax and don’t need a highly stylized twist, this is also an excellent choice. I prefer to curl the ends up just a bit with a natural look to them, and this product does the trick. It softens throughout the day but still holds the hair in place. It’s also good for taming the stray runaway hairs without gluing them to upper lip. I like that I can still use my handmade British mustache combs throughout the day without them getting stuck. So, if you want a hard wax to really twist and curl your ends, this may not be for you. But, if your looking for subtle hold and a soft feel, this wax is excellent. And it has just the right amount of fragrance (per my lady friends). Did I mention the guitar pick that pulls just the right amount of wax? I guess, I did. Twice now. It’s that nifty.

If you already reapply your wax a lot, then this is actually a 5-star product for you!
This is my first mustache wax, so I don’t have much to base my review off of.I love the scents and love that it’s a sort of “sample pack”. The scents don’t last long though, which is probably good. The hold is very weak. I used to use chapstick to keep my mustache out of my mouth, and this wax is only marginally better. It lasts long enough to take a picture and look good for a few minutes, but as soon as I eat anything or brush my teeth or kiss my wife or sneeze or smile really big a few times or laugh really hard, it’s gone. And I definitely don’t want to apply so much wax that it holds for longer, because I’m not going for that look—I don’t want the hair all stuck together into a slick curly strand. Some say that these are great for carrying around with you for reapplication throughout the day, and I agree! The size of the tins is perfect for that, and it definitely needs to be reapplied throughout the day. However, in order to keep the shape I want for my ‘stache, I’d have to reapply every 30 minutes or so, which isn’t practical or what I’d hoped for.If you already reapply a lot and that’s a normal part of your day, then this is actually a 5-star product for you! The tins are tiny and portable, the scents are wonderful, it’s not glossy or oily, and it’s not too hard to apply with a little warming up and massaging. If you want the initial application to hold for longer though, get a wax with a stronger hold.

Works for me
I used this to wax the tips of a prop mustache for a costume. It is a real-hair piece, and this wax worked well. The guitar pick scraper comes in handy, since the wax is a little hard and sticky, but it holds well, and the scent is nice and not overpowering. It takes a little practice to get the curl right. I have not tried to keep the mustache in place for an entire day, and I think that reapplication would be necessary after a few hours, but the tin is very small and fits easily into a pocket or bag so you can take it with you. I may have to grow out my own stache and wax the tips just for the hell of it now :)

Great scents and very smooth
These work great for my Stache! The lemon scent is soft and citrusy, and the other is soothing and calming. They apply easily with the wipe of your finger or just the pick of a comb. Not to rigid, which allows your lip caterpillar to breathe and still have some flow. Thanks for the sticker too!
