No certificate on back label either
I was in the habit of buying another brand because it appeared to give the most value, then having recently been alerted to the non-sustainability of fish oil products I looked more closely at its label, and sure enough absolutely no mention of the source of its oil and no labelling by a sustainable fisheries body, not even by the MSC (not entirely squeaky clean). This, on the other hand, was ADVERTISED as sustainable by the Friends of the Sea (which seems to remain incorrupt). Sadly, when it arrived, there was no label on the back saying that this product is certified either (AMAZON SHOULD TAKE NOTE), so it's back to the hunt (or perhaps I'll just eat some smoked mackerel each week, even if it is farmed.
