It works! Plain and simple. If you're wearing socks, tuck the tape into your sock, deep enough that it touches your ankle and the sock secures it in place.Doesn't have to go all the way in, just needs to make contact with your skin to complete the loop.I have a standing-desk fatigue mat made of polyurethane foam/faux leather. Before sitting on my computer, my foot makes contact with it to dissipate any built-up ESD. I touch the keyboard and I no longer have ESD! I prefer this heel strap because I don't have to worry about using an ESD shoe-cover that makes me skid all around. If you're not wearing sneakers, but slippers or moccasins, etc., expect to have the velcro-strap go around the top of your talus on the foot (look it up for reference)If you have a mat that's an electrical insulator, such as polyurethane, this will work. I have been doing my best to stay grounded as much a possible, the earthing shoes are a little pricey. I came across these shoe straps, I tested them with a continuity tester and they work perfectly. I plugged the end of the tester into the ground in my yard, the shoe tested positive for ground on the grass and on my concrete sidewalk, as expected it showed that I was not grounded in my asphalt street. I was worried about how long these would last and I was surprised that the material is thick and rubbery, just like a shoe sole, so they should wear pretty well. If you are someone who wants to be grounded more, I highly recommend this product, it's absolutely amazing.

I wear these when I'm on the production floor and need to be grounded for ESD. Durable, easy to use and work great. Would buy again

I work in the aerospace/defense industry. Where it’s believed that %50 of all latent electronic failures are caused by electrostatic discharge(ESD) at the assembly level. So understandably my job takes ESD pretty seriously. I was reluctant to buy these but They’ve passed the static test at work every morning so far. Good product 👍🏻

These little miracle workers have been so wonderful! I have gotten my sister to order 2,my niece 2,and I ordered 1for my granddaughter and another for myself in case of loss and both my brothers ordered 1! The first time I put them on my feet (not my shoes) my constant foot pain went away! Not 5minutes, not 2minutes, instantly! I noticed my inflammation disappeared and to top it off, because I slept in them, I slept so good! I usually have to sleep with sleep music in my earplugs all night and I still get up every 2hours. Not now! I am so happy to have these. No leg pain and no foot cramps either!

In an instant these dramatically changed my home and work life for the better! Shocked no more! Hooray!! Buying a blue pair, too. Recommend they also make them in black. Don’t cut the grounding ribbon to short bc it can work its way out of shoe. Highly recommend, but don’t take my word for it, get a pair for yourself.

Product works and helps, but I have to place it back on the heel of my boot multiple times a day. I have the attachment strap as tight as it will go and it does not keep the heel in place. Boot size 11-1/2 mens.
