great and sturdy but wish the "cat boxes" were not just fabric.
I have a 4 month old kitten. It's perfect for her. The reason I give it 4 stars is because I didn't know that the "cat boxes" on this were just fabric. She has already played and chewed as kittens do and I don't see them lasting long. We received this 2 days ago. Within the first 10 mins of playing she chewed right through the elastic cords that the mice are hanging from, all of them.... so if you have a cat that likes to chew strings etc you might want to cut these off in the beginning. I just completely cut them and they are floor toys now.Assembly was easy except as previous reviews have stated the parts are not labeled. Go through everything and label before you begin, it will make your life a lot easier!Product is sturdy enough if put together nice and tight. My 5 year old 60 lb son climbed all the way to the top (yes he got in trouble! But I have to say the kid has balance, he was standing on the very top platform!) and it was sturdy for him to be on it!Hope this will hold up over the years for the kitten, but wish the boxes were actual boxes and not fabric. Hope this helps in your decision!

good purchase at a good price
It took me awhile to build because I did a couple of things wrong and had to take stuff apart and start over, but that was probably more of an error on my part than the instructions. I noticed a couple of typo mistakes in the instructions that made things a bit confusing, but I managed to get it put together. My cats were a little hesitant to get on it at first, but they're warming up to it. As others say, the platforms, small box and some of the other spaces are a bit small, but my 11 lb cat still manages. He fits fine on the platforms, but he has to stick his head out of the small box in order to fit in it. Their favorite parts so far are the toy mice dangling from the platforms by elastic. Hopefully the mice stay attached and the elastic doesn't break because their pretty rough with them. They haven't used the planks yet, but maybe they will once they warm up to it some more. Overall, it was a good purchase at a good price.

They fit. They sit.
UPDATE:We've ended up with more cats (temporarily), and they have abused this tower much more - scratching, playing, jumping to the very top then to the floor again. Within the first day they had ripped off all of the mice- but when they're not playing they've managed to fit perfectly inside both the small cube enclosure and the top three platforms. I estimate these cats to be between 10 and 13 pounds.I have two cats, both are rather small, the larger being about 8 pounds. They can fit in the top sections comfortably, and enjoy playing with the hanging mice.Setup was simple for the most part, though parts could have been labeled better. Make sure all boards are facing the correct directions as you put it together, or it will mess the whole thing up later one.The steps are kind of pointless. Any cat small enough too fit on this tree should be limber enough to jump to the ledges.

Overall review; covers all details
ONLY reason I don't give 5 β is because the directions was a little difficult to follow. None of the parts are labeled so you have to figure it out. So hest to sort out all your parts before you start. Follow directions slowly and carefully and it goes together really easy. You don't need special tools it comes with the only tool you need. There was one part in the directions that was a typo. I think like on step 5 or 6 it should have been part J instead of part D. My cat loves it!! It's not good for super large cats but cats like cozy spaces so it might be ok. Just depends on your cat.

My kitties love it!
It was pretty easy.to put together, however it was missing one piece, so they couldn't use it until the next day. They use it daily. They do fight over the top perch, which is interesting. Only one of my cats have slept in the houses. I wish the three perches were a little larger, they do sleep in them, but they look like they could use a little more room. If you have very large cats, they will not fit. They love to play with the attached mice. After 2 months, I'm actually surprised they are still attached! They also both use the scratching posts which I'm glad about, as they are both indoor cats.

Smaller than expected, but, a descent tree
This product is much smaller than I was anticipating. However, it works great for my foster kittens. I'd say cats over 5lbs would not fit comfortably in this. I originally bought it for my cats, but, after I realized how small it was, I decided to put it in the "kitten nursery" for when we foster mommas and babies. The little one's LOVE IT. It's fairly sturdy. The boxes are covered by thin fabric which is easily torn, so, be cautious of this. But, you get what you pay for. As you can see by the picture, it works great for my foster families

My two cats love it
My two cats love it, and if they're happy, I'm happy. I have a 6 month old kitten and a 2 year old cat (about 7-8 lbs) and I have no problems with stability or room. Even though the top platforms are a little tight fit for the kitten, he sleeps up there pretty comfortable. He also loves the nice, and so far they're still intact (which is pretty impressive since he has a tendency to break toys within a day of getting them.) I only wish that the instructions were more clear and the parts were labeled with the letters. All in all it took about 45 minutes to build.

It's also pretty small. The top square box wouldn't fit my ...
the "carpeting" is thin. you can feel the sharp corners of the boards if you touch it. It's also pretty small. The top square box wouldn't fit my adult male cat but my smaller female adult cat fits her body in it. The poles/scratching posts on the top with the box dome are also too close that it's literally blocking the entrances. The top perch are also small. My male cat sometimes lays on both of the bottom perches to fit.i bought a similar one before here for $80 this one is a smaller much more condenced version of it. If you build ikea products or walmart furnitures, you'll be able to put this together easily.

Great buy
I have had this tower for about a year now. It arrived quickly and was easy to put together. My kitten has a knee problem. He struggles to jump but loves to climb. The vet said to encourage exercise of his knees as much as possible, get him to climb up the stairs. We live in a bungalow so that was not possible. This was ideal to exercise his little knees. A year on and he practically lives up there. He flies up at maximum speed and climbs up the sides with ease. For the most part the tower stays pretty sturdy on its base. He quickly grew out of the top snuggle cave. But he's never shown any interest in the bottom one. The tower is in good condition considering it is in constant use. I would say the post that hold the ledges do sway more than I am comfortable with and I should probably think about securing them abit more. My cat is happy and very comfortable with the movement of the ledges. Also the ledges themselves have raised sides. So now he's bigger he doesn't fit has well. I have wondered, since the ledges just screw on, why they they don't make different ledges or accessories you can swap and change. The only other point I would make is make sure you really brush down the furry covering. I gave it a brush down and it seemed ok. After we introduced the tower my kitten kept being sick. I realised he had been licking the furry.UPDATEI have had my tower a year now. Unfortunately one of the columns is broken. It's the plastic bit that goes into the post and holds the screw bit in. I contacted the manufacturers directly looking for this plastic part. Unfortunately they say they no longer supply them. They did however offer to replace my tower or give me a 15% refund. I am not going to take the refund. My cat loves his tower and it's damaged from constant use. But I thought this was wonderful service from the company considering the tower is a year old.

Very good Cat Tree 10/10
Actually, for the price a good strong structure Ive had cat trees before that wobble when the cat jumps off and this doesn't maybe a little narrow and there's a lot going on for a larger cat, the items like the ladders and boxes are a little close together and beds a little small but for a kitten this is 100%. Brilliant. Both my cat and kitten love it, but as I say if you have adult cats it's still good but maybe a little too much going on. Was not sure about the cloth covers for the boxes...again brilliant the cats can see through them slightly and they play that way too, better than solid boxes.10/10 Very happy catsAlso wanted to say the box has turned out to be as much fun cut a few holes and both cats play one on top and the other inside Love cats better watching than Coronation Street

Purrfect!
Excellent value, this was around 30% cheaper than I could find anywhere else (nearest equivalent). The tree arrived in many parts which needed to be assembled, the instructions were 'OK' not amazing but not hard, probably took around 30-40 mins to put together. I have a medium sized 2 year old cat who loves it, there are toy mice suspended from several platforms by elastic cord which the cat loves. The structure itself is solid, with everything tightened up if the cat jumps on the higher platforms the tree can sway a little but when I saw sway I'm talking very small movement at the top, while the base itself stays firmly rooted, possibly a bigger cat may cause more movement. The tree itself is tall so plenty of exercise climbing to be had, however would say perhaps not suitable for big heavy cats as the platforms aren't huge and some of the turns to get onto higher platforms are quite tight. Very pleased with this overral, was perfect for our 2 bed flat as it's narrow yet tall.

Nice cat tree
The lay out of this cat tree is very nice and we got beige which was a really nice colour as well.the tree was delivered 2 days after we bought off of amazon so quick delivery.the only downfall about it is my cat is to big for the 3 top perches and the wee house which is rather small which he tries to squeeze his body into as he loves sitting at the top.Would say if you have a large cat the top are really small OK to sit in but tight squeeze for lying down in but that for me was the only thing as I would rather the 3 top perches were made bigger if they can can someone let me know, thanks

cat tree
the kittens had fun for a few months, unfortunately the material is of average quality, so it was quickly torn by the cat nails. I do not recommend it for large and heavy cats due to the fact that the tree is not quite stable.in general, the tree was nice.
