Tough Stuff
I bought this for my son who can't seem to keep things out of his mouth. Hearing him suck on a spit laided blanket is about the grossest thing I have ever encountered in my life. He also is one of those children who will talk constantly and says whatever comes into his head. Constructive or (more likely) not. When he has it on, he chews constantly and the noises that thing can make are not pleasant either but it is better than what he was doing. It has been saving his clothing as well as his stuffed animals he also loves to chew. With permission from his teacher he has been allowed to take it to school. He did get made fun of a bit but he has also gotten in less trouble at school. As a matter of fact he forgot it today and got in trouble for chewing up a pencil. For reference he is seven and has not destroyed one yet with all his teeth in tact. I do get a bit disturbed that he tries to shove the entire thing folded in half down into the back of his mouth.

Don't last long
I bought this for my 8 year old son who is a chewer. I really liked these when I bought them, and he as used them, but we have had them for less than a month and he has chewed through them. I bought these because they are recommended for adults and children 8 years and older, so I thought they would be a little tougher and last longer than those made for younger children. At this price, and with the speed he chewed through them, I can't recommend this product as a good value.

Ripped within a day
My son chewed I piece off within a day. He's 5. The magnetic closure for someone with ADHD becomes fascinating and distracting.

Durable, satisfying to sensory seeking, not ugly.
I took a long time researching and deliberating about which chew to get my son. He's nearly 6, on the autism spectrum, and seeks oral sensory constantly now that he's basically teething again (baby teeth starting to come out).I was concerned about durability, size, and "lint magnet factor".After reading tons of reviews on tons of chews, I settled on these. I'm glad I did. They are not too big - maybe slightly bigger than I wish it was but really not unreasonable at all. They do seem durable. My son started chomping on the tag right away and he's really working it over- and it's not got even a tooth mark in it.So far it doesn't seem to attract lint and dirt. I do wash it regularly because seeing him slobber all over it makes me squeamy and I have to clean it - but it doesn't seem to get dirty. Just covered in saliva. My only concern, and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is the metal bead necklace. First of all, I know the magnet closure is supposed to help prevent choking, but all it does for my son (and I predicted it would before ordering) is give him something to play with. He was constantly pulling it apart and tugging on it. My solution was to take the small chain from the second tag and loop it through the round holes that hold each magnet end. Now, if the magnets pull apart, the chain stays clasped.Once he realized it wasn't doing any good, and coming off, he started leaving them alone. Mission accomplished. However, for a sensory seeking child, the metal beads themselves are just way too much to resist. I get it - when I was a kid I would have had that in my mouth in a heartbeat, sloshing the chain around my mouth, pulling them between my teeth etc. (Yes, I was an oral sensory seeker too.)He is about half and half with whether he has the tag in his mouth, or the necklace itself. So I will be looking for another necklace to use instead, one that won't be quite so stimulating. I'm just concerned that it will break. I'm also concerned that he will chew a metal ball right off and swallow it.Considering just the tag itself though, I give that a 5 star. Hopefully they will reconsider the clasp and ball chain concept- but until then I give it 4 stars since I have to consider the product exactly as it comes.

Great For Older Kids With Sensory Issues and Cutting their Perm Teeth.
My grandson was ruining his shirts by again chewing on the collar. I looked for something that wasn't for small child since he is 9. He likes it and has stopped chewing his shirts. They are stylish and I really like the magnet closure just becuase he rolls around and stands on his head. Therefore, I don't have to worry for him strangling himself.

my son 💙 it
My son loves it and uses it everyday at school! The teachers noticed an improvement and he looks like he's just wearing dog tags. Would definitely buy again.
