colors are gorgeous
I got these b/c I know that skin is the biggest organ of the body and can be quite absorbent. I wanted something safe on the surface and in case a bit of paint was tasted. I love the colors - one friend pointed out that the make my daughter's pictures look "very Eric Carle." But my daughter is too young to care much about the colors; she's still really into mixing the paints.Tip: I use an old egg carton to portion out very small bits of paint so my daughter isn't messing around with the whole pot.

Nice - but will stain surfaces
I did a art project with my girls a few weeks ago on our front porch. Some of the paint got on the porch and now we have many different colored paw prints tracking all over the porch. While this is cute, it's probably not going to be so cute when our landlords see it. It's been almost three months and despite soap, storms, and downpours that soak the porch it's not coming up. However, I do love the fact that it's all natural and I don't have to worry about toxins.

check your paints
I was very disappointed today to get out the paints to do a project with my daughter and find that the red which we had never used before was completely dried up. We had used some of the colors before, just not the red. It is too late for me to return the item, but just be sure to check the paints when you receive them. I wish I had done so when I first received them and noticed that the paints were in the package horizontally instead of vertically as they should have been.

Fun and good to know they're natural
I used these paints with my 9-month-old so it was important that they were all natural in case he decided to take a lick. It was fun, the finished master piece looks pretty, and the colors came out nice and dark. It was a little difficult to get the blue off his hands, but no big deal. The only downside is that you don't get a whole lot of paint for your money, those containers are pretty small. But I suppose you pay extra for them being all natural and I haven't been able to find a better deal...so I guess it's ok.

We love painting
While this isn't called a finger paint, we do use it as one. The colors are very natural looking and look really nice on paper, but some colors do not wash off well. My little ones shirt still has some blue stains from the paint and the rag we used to keep from muddling the colors together is pretty much stained with all 3 colors.I would recommend this for outdoor play (easier to clean up) with old clothes (both you and your child).

Great and Fun
I thought the paint was a great idea and gave me peace of mind because I had my 1 year old make a painting for his first birthday and I was afraid of him ingesting the paint. I poured the paint onto wax paper so the baby could dip his hands, but the only complaint is that it's really soupy so all of the colors ran together pretty quickly. A thicker paint would have made for a more enjoyable experience and less of a brown mess.

Fun, but messy
I gave these paints to my 3 year old nieces and they absolutely loved them! Some furniture has blue and purple stains, but the paint washes out of clothing and paint brushes very easily. The brushes even went overnight before getting washed, and a little soaking helped the paint come right out. 2 ounces does not go very far when there are 2 artists wanting to use the same color, so we were almost out of red by the second painting session! The paint dries a little lighter, but it does dry quickly.

Love!
I got these to make artwork for my walls done by my children...we used them on canvas & they turned out wonderfully. As one reviewer said, they do fade upon drying, but I'll make that sacrifice for the fact that they are all natural. My 20 month old and 3 year old had a ball with them. The colors that came were perfect and I think we'll get many uses out of them! Super fun.
