Ozium804282 Outdoor Essence Scent Gel - 4.5 oz.

This product "Ozium Smoke & Odors Eliminator Gel" works as well as advertised. One of my rooms, which I use just to store crafting supplies had a dusty smell that no matter what I did (shampoo carpets, Air freshener sprays, etc) could not get the smell out. The first thing I would recommend to anyone prior to using, is to clean the room prior to using the product. I am confident that by doing so, you are assisting the product in doing its job. The second thing I would recommend, is to purchase enough jars to accommodate the size of the room you are attempting to remove the odor from. My room is fairly Large so I used 2 jars strategically setting them [one under air vent & one on a shelf]. I then closed the door to the room for 24 hours and upon returning the odor was gone. Not only from the room but from the cardboard boxes which had been used to store supplies. I would recommend if your room is large, using a few jars since I have yet to find a larger size than the one sold. To the maker of this item, I would suggest offering larger size jars, for example, a size that could be used in 11"x17" rooms and so on. This would prevent having to place many jars in the location and would allow many to realize this product does a wonderful job at removing smells and not just masking them. I have, since the initial use of this product, purchased additional ones for other areas of my home - though I am hoping that at some point a larger size jar may be on the market some day.

Eliminates odors within an hour

I keep tubs of Ozium gel near the cat litter box, in the car, etc. They really do help. The smell isn't great - pretty cloying and toxic smelling - but distinctly better than cat poop, etc. Occasionally I have to shake them a bit - which seems to reactivate them to some extend. The adjustable lid is a nice touch and helps a lot.

This stuff really does the job. Cars, campers and smoky area left by a renter. This is an item I have purchased numerous times.

Smells good for a few days at best...

Purchased this for the car. The floral fragrance is stronger than expected. It saturated the car's interior to the point that I had to take it out. I was hoping it would dissipate after a few days but no luck. Some reviewers evidently don't mind the odor but I find it smells like a household cleaner trying to pass for a floral arrangement. A swing and a miss.

I keep following my college age son around from room to room and trying solid odor eliminating room fresheners as he moves. Seems he doesn't like to do his laundry so the room begins to smell. I moved him out of my guest room and used Ono which worked great. Then I noticed the basement room he moved into was starting to smell like dirty laundry . So I tried this one and it works great! He is in a big room down there, so I wasn't sure a solid freshener would work in the larger space. This one does. I put it near the pile of laundry that rarely seems to get washed, and pretty soon the smell was taken care of. So for my purposes, this does a good job.

works very well (in about 1 week)scent is neutral, gooddo not leave cap off like i did, then scent is overwhelming, lol, but goes awaycap has "windows" to let out a little at a time and it works

I bought a used truck that had previously been owned by a smoker. The vehicle had a strong smell of smoke in the cab, which hit your nose as soon as you opened the door. I learned about Ozium after doing a search online about ways to remove smoke odors. It worked great! Now, I cannot smell smoke at all even when sitting inside the cab. I highly recommend it.

It's pretty effective.I put the air freshener on the BACK SEAT of my car to try to get rid of the mould smell (from getting wet and being moudly for months). I have not used the car for about year but I happened to sit in the drivers seat for a couple of minutes the other day. Got out. Can still smell the air freshener. In fact, days later I can smell that damn air freshener on the clothes I was wearing when I pass the laundry pile.

Not much of a review. But it had helped with the strong odours left from the previous homeowners without seeming to mask them with other strange aromas.

Just got a second hand car that smelt of smoke. Scrubbed it, cleaned it and vacuumed, steam cleaned it and the smell stayed. Bought two of these and within about 4 days, smell is all gone!
