This Filter Funnel is a cost-effective solution that perfectly serves my 3D resin printing needs. It's easy to clean, sized just right, and efficiently filters resin from the vat back to the bottle. A simple yet invaluable addition to my workflow.

This is a great little funnel, I use it for pouring resin from my 3d printer vat back into the bottle. It comes with 2 metal filters, I found that the one with larger holes worked best for resin. I had seen some reports here that the little filters don't stay in place, perhaps those were older reviews, my experience is that they stay perfectly in place. The filters have little spring arms that extend down into the spout of the funnel and hold the filter very well. Clean up is a breeze and I don't go through as many paper filters as I was using before.

I found both filters to be very snug. I use the basic filter for returning resins to their bottle, and the tighter filter to sift out the impurities in the alcohol. Being stainless steel, it's very easy to clean, and super sturdy.The filters both have little metal legs on them that work to hold each filter in place, and they do such a good job I sometimes have difficulty pinching them out to clean because they're so slick from the resin. Definitely recommend this item if you're running a lot of resin prints.

I bought this to strain my resin and IPA for 3d printing. The insert lies almost flush even after I've bent the legs down to fit into the tube. Also, confusingly, the filter layer with the smaller holes is on top of the one with the larger holes. Presumably this is to provide some level of support to the very fine mesh but some of the larger particulate would be caught in the other layer if they were reversed, which would slow the rate of clogging for the fine mesh. That being said, it's nice and easy to rinse clean and holds the better part of a 500g bottle in the main chamber.

Had this for a while now. The finer filter it came with really helps. Have had to use it to filter out the gunk from the alcohol bath for my resin so I can reuse the alcohol and it works really great. Also great for replacing the resin back in the bottle to separate the cured pieces that fell off from printing.

The removeable screens in this are awesome. It took a minute to figure out how to get them inserted but once I got it it's super easy. I guess my one complaint would be that there is not a strainer with larger holes in it for speed. I mean you don't always want to just strain out very small things. the fluid would flow faster if there was a strainer with the screen and larger holes.

Writing on behalf of the funnel. The funnel fit perfectly inside of the nose of my resin bottle and works as intended. It is kind of slow on the transfer due to lack of an air hole (I 3d printed a straw to help let air out and it drains faster now). In practice I just pour the resin in and clean the other parts so it doesn't matter much to me. It was easy to clean and the volume in which it can carry is good enough as long as you didn't over pour the resin in the tank for your print and still larger than I am used to at least. It really helps the transfer because I do not need a filter and a flask to then pour it into a nozzle for the bottle and it takes it from 2 parts to one in terms of the process. Overall, would recommend.

I like the small filter that is included

I use the finest filter for filtering the resin. Not sure it will get all the smallest bits of cured resin or not yet, but we will see in time. It worked flawlessly for me. Straining was a very slow process, but the funnel and filter were very easy to clean afterwards. Just sprayed them down with 99% ISO alcohol and wiped dry with a dry microfibre cloth. Planning to do a full presentation video on resin 3D printing in a month so this will come in handy again soon.

Great product, quality. I was looking for another funnel for resin 3d printing, but didn't want plastic, as in the past it kept bonding to the surface (no idea why). I ordered this one on impulse as the price was good. It paid off! It flows fairly quickly, and filters well! All in all great funnel! Recommend for resin 3d printing!
