EASYBREATH snorkeling mask (S/M) or (L/XL) - ATOLL (S/M)

I never write product reviews, but I am making an exception for this one because for me, it was a life-changing purchase.My stupid irrational childhood fear has been putting my head underwater. I used to wail when my mom bathed me as a baby; as a child I was taunted at the beach and in the pool by my cousins and younger sister; I had to calm myself at the salon when my hair was washed before a trim. It took me until I was a pre-teenager to be able to wash my hair comfortably in the shower. So you can imagine that snorkeling was something I never thought I'd be able to do.I've travelled alot, to places that snorkeling would have been amazing. The Galapagos Islands, Baja California, Costa Rica, the Caribbean, Greece, Florida, Hawaii... with manatees, with tropical fishes, in clear water... and - I. Just. Couldn't. Do. It.Then I read about this mask, and was excited to try it out. The seller was spot-on with the product and its delivery. Everything was set. I took it with me to a recent trip throughout Polynesia (think Bora Bora, Tahiti, Marquesas, Cook Islands...). I put the mask on one beautiful sparkling day, in water that was gorgeously clear. And off I went. It didn't leak, I didn't hyperventilate, I didn't freak out. I just snorkeled! I actually had an audience of my fellow shipmates cheering me on.So for me, yes, this was a life-changing purchase. I heartily and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a snorkel mask that gives you excellent visibility, with the ability to breathe through your nose or mouth, and doesn't fog up at all. The adjustable strap system on the back made for a reassuringly snug and comfortable fit. I was so comfortable with the mask that I actually stuck my head way down, and the watertight valve worked as promised, as well -- I didn't inhale water.My only issue with the mask itself is that the breathing piece doesn't attach to the face part with a reassuring "click" or "snap". So you'll want to make really sure that it's securely fastened.
