Great replacement lights.
Replaced old 1980’s can lights with these. The replacement was a breeze, the lights are super thin(1/2”) and have spring loaded feet to hold them in place. So easy to install, the liguts emit a soft 3000k light that is comfortable on the eyes but look warm. I bought a pack of 4 and then bought a 2nd pack to replace more lights. Highly recommend.

The Impact Is Amazing
Bought these to replace can lights in my kitchen. The toughest part of the install was tweaking the precut holes from the cans to allow a smidge more room for these. Replacing lighting with these was completely worthwhile!

I love these lights, especially for upgrading old construction.
I used these to replace some old, outdated can lights in my parent's house. Installation was so easy and no modification to the existing ceiling or wiring was required. It probably took me a half hour to do all three lights. Stay mindful of the color temperature. These lights are on the cooler side so they would be good for a bathroom or maybe a kitchen where bright light is needed. Speaking of bright: you may want to consider putting these on a dimmer so you can control the output, because at full brightness, they are super bright!

Not really worth the work and extra expense
I was all ready to do the work to install these properly in the U.S., buying and putting in the necessary junction boxes, because my first take was that the size was necessary to fit "7 inch" holes where old can lights were mounted. But further consideration of the difficulty and expense of removing the old cans, installing junction boxes and connecting to the old wiring made me pause after these lights arrived. Another measuring determined that the drywall holes were actually 6 7/8 inches. I started checking the ring diameter on much simpler-to-install retrofit products labeled "6 inches" and found some had trim rings that were about 7.4 inches. So I ordered those instead and made a much simpler job of it. It left a bit of paint to touch up around the new rings, but completely covered the hole. I think there would still have been touch up to do if I had gone ahead with these lights, which have a 7.6 inch trim diameter. I'm sharing my experience in case it helps anyone who, like I was, is considering options for old large can light replacement.

Poor quality
The light and material seem ok. But the spring that holds them in the opening is junk and will break. The transformer box also is very cheap. The unit does work but I expect issues down the road

Easy replacement and clean look
We bought these to get rid of the yellowed can lights with separate bulbs. They fit the spot perfectly and have a nice clean look.

Not approved to be install in the United States
To install the recessed light you need a metal box to enclose the wiring, with this product you don’t have that. This will not comply with electrical codes of any state and it won’t pass inspections. If you are trying to sell your property, the home inspector will ask to replace them. In case of a fire, if the insurance find that the fire was caused by these recessed lights, there is a big chance for arbitration because the installation wasn’t done correctly. I’m a General Contractor in several states including Florida and I just purchased 4 but I can’t use it. Especially because I’m replacing bad lighting to comply with home inspection requirements.I have attached a picture of the right product that everyone should purchase.
