This product was exactly what I expected... stable, adaptable, useful, but also slightly meltable... ((so careful where you put your iron tips lol you may end up with a stringy mess)) dispite my clumsiness and mess. I would recommend this product absolutely. well worth the modest price and very useful... I just wish they made a polymer choice that didn't turn into strings when you stupidly melt it with the iron... like I did... but if you know what you are doing then this will serve you very well.

I was definitely very happy to find that this unit was sturdier than some of the similar products I've purchased in the past. The clamping could be a little better, but the arms are quite stiff in a good way.

Very flexible and securely holds the item I am working with. Having both "arms" come out of the same side of the clamp has worked very well. Folds/rolls up small enough to go inside my soldering toolbox. If you want to customize the length or configuration of the arms a pair of the Loc-Line 1/4" hose assembly pliers is indispensable.

A little flimsy but it will get the job done for smaller, more delicate projects. I think the arms will wear out quickly if used frequently, they need more rigidity. But otherwise this is a pretty neat little helping hand.

This works well in helping hold parts and pieces so I can do soldering with both of my hands.

Did not expect much because of the price point, but didn't even last long enough to get mounted the first time. The threads of one of the arms that go into the desk clamp were too long and I didnt notice so as soon as I clamped it to the desk the threads were stripped out and now I only have one usable arm.
