This bowl works really well to help slow down my cat’s eating. My only criticism would be that the nodules are very large and possibly more suited to dogs, so a slightly smaller version would be great.

My cat has been vomiting after food all her life, my vet advised trying a bowl like this and the results have been amazing. This has really improved the life/meal times of one of our two cats. His sister eats slowly and carefully but he was always gulping the lot down in a mad hurry, as if it might disappear. Quite often he would then throw it all up on the kitchen floor and after five minutes be just as hungry as he was before eating. I didn't realise there was anything I could do about it until a friend told me there were special bowls to help them slow down. When I looked on Amazon and saw that this one also changed the position of the cat whilst eating I thought I'd give it a try, just in case. Well, it's been a couple of months now I think and he hasn't (I hardly dare type this...) vomited on the kitchen floor even once since we got it. I recommend this bowl to anybody whose cat is a gulper or a vomiter. You might even save the money soon enough on all the extra meals you don't have to give because they've kept the first lot down.

Item came quickly and looks exactly as it did on the website . My cat seems to like it and it has stopped him guzzling his meat so quickly . It’s also easy to clean

This was expensive for what it is, though good value. I find after a couple of days, my cat just learned to work her way around the bowl to avoid the protruding bits meant to slow her eating down! So in the end, it didn't have the desired effect. The outcome - a nice bowl that is more difficult to clean than an ordinary bowl - though it looks nice.

Got this as a secondary raised bowl for my cat, who can wolf food down when it's something he likes. Afterwards, he sits next to me and hiccups. This bowl has definitely stopped that.I found the best way to clean this, is with a bamboo dish scrubber that you can buy from Amazon. They're not expensive.If you initially don't get on with lumpy bowls, you can turn it upside down and use that as a bowl. I use that bowl for catnip, or more liquid food,As for sturdiness, I accidentally dropped it on a laminated floor this morning and it didn't even crack. Phew!

Immediately it solved my cat vomiting. And I thought Yayyy! However now after a couple of months she started throwing up again maybe she has mastered the bowl and manages to still gobble her food.so I can’t even give a positive or negative review. I believe there’s no real cure for her vomiting.She is a greedy cat lol.

Seemingly good quality cat bowl. Great for greedy gannets, or the smooth side is also good to prevent older cats having to lean down as far to the floor to eat. Bought three in total, one for each cat.
