Collected Poems, 1916-1970 2nd Edition

Conrad Aiken has been my favorite poet for many years now and this collection is a replacement. He’s the most lyrical and deep, high caliber poet this country has produced and gets very little credit from the prissy and stodgy academicians that decide who’s who like Eliot, Stevens and Crane. They need to come down from their ivory towers and get real.
