It's thin, not terribly soft --in fact its a bit scratchy, and it picks up lint just sitting there. Not sure if I would have bought it had I known.

This is a great bargin. It is a warm, luxurious shawl that is versitle and stylish. I wore it to my daughter's Oct. wedding and will definatly bring it along on my trip to Greece this fall.
