Every time you turn this unit on from the switch on the back it says very loudly "music play motor." The volume also resets to a louder setting when you turn it off then turn it back on. That being said you can just use the pause button instead of the switch on the back and the volume mantains the level you set it at and there is no random woman shouting at you. I use this machine for white noise for my baby so she can sleep despite the thin walls of our little bungalow. I needed something that would play a single track of white noise for many hours as i planned to run this thing all night. Sadly i learned that with the sounds provided, the tracks change every 20 minutes. That was easily fixed by using a thumb drive with one track of rain sounds, it just automatically plays on repeat and bypasses the sd card. There is a bluetooth option- i could not get my brand new iphone 6s to pick it up, which actually i dont mind except for the unecessary blinking blue light coming from behind the speaker mesh. As we use this for sleep, in a darkened room, this is really annoying. The light is blinking to indicate the bluetooth signal can be found, only, it cant, and now its just an annoying blinking blue light. Ill probably cover it with electrical tape like i do with every other object in my bedroom (why does everything need a damn light??) and it will look ghetto. Whatever. Also, if you do a google search of this speaker youll find it cheaper elsewhere.**edited - I change my mind, this thing is the worst. that random loud voice started screeching MUSIC PLAY MOTOR over and over again at 3 am and woke up me and my 5 month old. THE WORST!

This speaker might be great for around the house but not at all what we wanted form the baby perspective. The thing plays 4 sounds. The sounds rotate every 20 min. We wanted something that could play THE SAME sound for hours. Well.....this doesn't do that. Rotating sounds stops then plays different sound. It wakes her when it rotates. When you hook up your Bluetooth its the same story (songs rotate, it wakes our baby). The battery life also isn't that good. When it's about to turn off it decides to announce it. Not good at all for a 7 month baby. Look at something else for a young one.

Love it! Simple. Loaded a single track to repeat for white noise on a microsd card. It has been great for that. We love the odd "Music Play Motor" voice that it says upon turning it on! It is like finally hearing the voice behind the person who gives us all the barely translated electronic device instructions/manuals from Asia! Sorry I have no idea how this would sound for normal music or audio, I assume not very good but not very bad for the price.

Originally, gave 5 stars, but now changing to 2. The USB power connector is now loose and has a bad connection.It does not always get power, which means it would then run off of the battery power, which is only good for about 3 hours. I must be very careful when plugging it in. If it is not connected, the battery goes dead in the middle of the night. It tries to restrat, but not enough power, so it just shouts out the "MOTO MUSIC PLAYER" (which I originally thought was cute, and now think it is completely stupid)- and it does this several times. A real nightmare. Sadly, I'm now 10 days past the return/replace date. When it was working correctly, I loved it.

Misses: Very Loud when first turning on. Lowest Volume setting still louder than wanted. Battery does not last a full night for baby room white noise.Hits: Size, SD Card.I haven't used the Bluetooth or USB functionality, so those have no impact to rating. Would rate higher if battery lasted longer and volume was more adjustable and less blaring on start.

Great speaker and worked great, but the battery life on mine was only about an hour. But it had great sound quality and was a really nice speaker for getting ready in the mornings

Good quality and volume... The white noise however will shut off in the middle of the night and yells at you in a French accent that the 'music play' is over. Repeatedly. Pull the SD card that comes with it

The sound is horrible.The voice that comes on when you change things is very strange.Its not made well.Its not easy to use either.I would not recommend.
