Buggyguard B - Hook for Stroller, Black

I was looking at locks to tie my helmet to my motorcycle as the new ride doesn't have a helmet lock. I was reading helmet lock reviews and ran across a suggestion of using the Buggyguard B. For the price it looked worth checking out as these helmet locks were expensive and not so well regarded. So I bought the Buggyguard B and have been using it for a few weeks. I don't expect this device to keep my helmet from being stolen - someone can just cut the strips on it (a cheap helmet too, not one of those $350 deals). The lock it self is not the best I've ever seen. I'm not a thief so I don't know how it could be done, but it doesn't look like a $30 padlock. It actually does what it is supposed to. When I drive around town, I can leave it on my motorcycle while shopping. I think that it will work well for a lady attaching her purse to a stiller - can't just grab it and run. But the same is true as with my helmet, you can cut the strap to steal the helmet or purse. I think it has good value for the money and its purpose.

For some reason I thought this hook was going to be small but I am very pleased with the size and construction. It is quite durable and the foam keeps the hook in place. I've used it at the mall & at the zoo when parking my stroller with the diaper bag.It is very easy to change the combination, however I did not fully depress the button (as it clearly states in the instruction guide) so I accidentially changed the lock without knowing my number code. DOH!!! I went online to the buggyguard website, and as I suspected, there was no chance of resetting my lock. If you lose the 3 digit code your only recourse is to cut it, or in my case, trash it. Darn, $10 down the drain I thought...until I realized I could try to "find" my combination through elimination--001, 002, 003...It took me 2 hours to figure out the code and when it opened I quickly made the correction. Whew!Moral of the story is don't be a dummy like me! Overall, great stroller hook and great quality.

These hooks have been so helpful with my walker. They're lightweight so they don't add weight when I pick up my walker but they hold a lot. I love hearts so a heart design I can always keep on my walker is great! These are very easy to use, hold a lot, and are a nice design. I bought 2! Definitely worth the money!

This item is extremely sturdy although not unbreakable. I bought this item as a gift for my younger so that she may hang the baby's bag on the stroller during their walks. She really liked the gift, even though she was concerned about how much weight it could hold. This item holds a lot of weight. Daily in the item was able to hold: a thick diaper changing mat, 3 bottles, a Similac jar, at least 2-3 standard size water bottles(Dasani), a blanket, an extra set of clothes, wipes, cream, cell phone, keys without a single problem. However the clicky part of the item did brake after it was thrown multiple times against a tree and then against pavement by an energetic 2 year old.

Great clip on for the stroller. To hold bags and purses. Easy to use, plus its cute!

this stroller hook is a must, especially for city dwellers like us that tend to walk everywhere. we can put a lot of groceries on this hook before it begins to show any instability, but im sure that varies with the geometry of each stroller. i thought it would be nice to get the one with a combination lock integrated into the hook for security... but we have never used the locking feature. if we were to say lock a purse to the stroller... someone cold easily steal the whole stroller? actually, it ends up being a pain because the lock will sometimes accidentally lock by accident and its a pain to unlock. i highly recommend this hook, but get the non-locking version. the lock doesnt provide much security, and for us has ended up being more of an inconvenience than anything.

I purchased this for an overseas trip with the intention of using it regularly afterward. Compared to other stroller hooks, I loved the combination lock (which won't guarantee theft prevention of course, but at least deters someone from quickly grabbing your bag) and the clean design without any cheesy saying on the side of it. It held several heavy bags with the counterweight of my Chicco stroller, infant carrier, and son. It will hold about one fully packed baby bag with just the stroller (no infant carrier or baby inside) without tipping everything over. Definitely helpful to have a hands-free travel or shopping experience. The combination lock works well and is easy to setup and use quickly on-the-go. Well worth the money and today, I can't imagine not having it with me when I'm out with my stroller!

We bought one of these hooks for our stroller and loved it so much we bought a second for our second stroller. The size and shape is perfect for hanging things on. The top contains a nice soft padding so it doesn't scratch up the handles on your stroller. We don't use the locking mechanism as we never leave our stroller unattended, but even without using the lock itself, you still have to pull down on the lock to open it which puts it a step ahead of the other stroller hooks out there as it keeps it closed nicely. I also like that it opens outwards instead of inward. We have used it for purses, groceries, and a cabana that we use at the park. I would highly recommend this for anybody looking to attach things to their stroller. Totally worth it.

When I purchased this I read the product description and believed I was purchasing the Black heart hook, instead I received the red one which clashes horribly with our travel system. The foam was squashed and did not look very clean. It was obviously new as it was attached by cable ties to a piece of board but just looked quite grubby and not what you would expect from an item you have purchased brand new. The metal part looks fine and it seems sturdy however it does not look like it will last an awfully long time, hopefully I'm wrong. Would have been 4 stars if I had received the item in the colour I was led to believe I had purchased but I do not have the time to mess around returning the item so will have to make do instead.

I bought two of these - one for my daughter to use on her buggy and one for myself to use on my walking frame. We both love it. I use mine to keep my handbag safely attached to the walking frame. It means my handbag is always within my reach, but I have the reassurance of knowing that no one can just slip it off the handle and run off with it. Highly recommended to mums or for other purposes :)

I bought this for a gift for my sister, who was struggling with bags and her pushchair!I saw this on a ladies pram and thought it was cute so I asked her where she got it from!My sister loves it and feels her bags are safe and that she doesn't have to tie them on anymore

Very good sturdy hooks I m writing this review almost 5 years after purchasing and it’s still in a perfect working condition still looking lovely

Feels sturdy enough but annoyingly the padded part of the hook doesn't fit my Joie Chrome. Also makes the bag hang too low and bashes against my knees or the carrycot as I walk.
