I have been using beauty blenders for years and years. I like them but I have noticed over time that the quality has come down - after only a month of use they start leaving little specks of foam on my face - i.e. breaking down way too soon. Given that a great makeup brush costs between $15 and $40 and last me for over a decade, I have a hard time paying $20 for a sponge that can't last a month.So I looked into dupes and most of the influencers led me right here to this product.Imagine my surprise when I unpacked it. It is HUGE!See the photos next to the Hourglass double ended ball brush. That ball end is huge on my face so I only use it for bronzer. the pointed tip I use on the rest of my face.This sponge is way too big to use with any precision on a face. I understand that it is listed as for Face and Body but unless you have a huge face there is no way you're avoiding getting product on your hairline, eyebrows, lashes, etc.OK so I used it once for foundation. I DO LIKE the application texture. I think it applies better than the BB to be honest so if it wasn't so big maybe I'd like it more.Then came cleaning. I couldn't get the makeup to come out of it. So I wonder what kind of germs are hanging out in there over time?Also noticed that it tore a bit from one use and one wash. See the photo. I didn't treat it harshly. I didn't wring it out. I didn't try to cut it. I did wash it with some coconut oil liquid soap under running water.Overall: I don't recommend this for the face. Body: maybe. But watch out for the cleanup and be careful as it seems just as much if not more delicate than a BB.

This facial cleansing sponge is alright. It gets slightly larger when wet. Probably best for a soft, morning clean. I do wish it was a bit firmer and also that it had a string to hang dry. But price is fair, and it does provide a light, fresh clean.

My foundation goes on and looks so much smoother using this sponge. So happy I gave it a try.

This large blender is my absolute favorite! Great for liquid foundation and powders!

This sponge is nice and easy to use. It has kind of a rubbery texture and expands a bit with water. The texture reminds me of a face sponge I had in the 80s. Pros: very durable. I don't see it falling apart any time soon, or ever. Does better than other things at getting my eye makeup off. Size is good for travel. Cons: kind of small. It's the same size as a regular RT makeup sponge. I'm coming from the world of washcloths, so I like something a bit bigger to wash my face. The other con is it doesn't really absorb the suds so it takes longer to wash my face with this than with other things. I find myself reaching for my sea sponge more often. It's fine but I don't see myself buying it again.

Just as good as a Beauty Blender

I did not realise how big this sponge is, was expecting it to be the size of the normal RT orange sponge but it's three times as big! It does say it's a body/face sponge, but way too big for the face. The pointed tip was way too large for the under eye and nose area. If you need this for the body, then, by all means, buy it, but don't get it as a face sponge. Best turn to the original RT sponge.

I won't buy again, wet this sponge squeezed it slightly, split in 2 places. I've bought these many times but they have not split like this one. Another use or two and it will be falling apart.

Used this for a few years now and I love it makes applying makeup all over my face super easy and quick and perfect for down the neck and body. Love it

For anyone that is wondering if this product is fake, I don’t believe so as it has the RT logo on it!! I will say that this sponge does thoroughly clean the face and remove all makeup but unfortunately, no matter how gentle I was when using it, it scratched my face and left little marks. I have psoriasis and it appeared to aggravate it. For these reasons, I would not be happy to use it again so threw it in the bin.

I have bought this a few times, some many find it too big and difficult to use but I love it and it’s never given me no issues. The only thing is that when I ordered it recently it got lost in the post but I contacted the seller and they sent a new one straight out which came so quickly, so no issues here 🙌🏿 Thank you!
