Great value - a lot of helmet for the money
Overall a great value with features and quality that would normally be found on a much more expensive helmet. It's not perfect, but it's perfect for me at this price!I took off the peak visor and wear it as an all around street/highway helmet, so take that into consideration.Pros:- Very light- Great looking (have been receiving a lot of compliments)- It somehow fits my very awkwardly round head which is a refreshing surprise- Good build quality and features - the shield is high quality and not the usual easily scratched garbage, I bought the dark shield for an extra $40... it's pricey, but it's better quality than the usual $20 onesCONS- It is SUPER LOUD. The lightness probably has to do with this, the road noise comes from the wind pushing on the helmet material near the ears... DO NOT WEAR THIS HELMET WITHOUT HEARING PROTECTION ON THE HIGHWAY. You will damage your ears. It actually starts around 40mph, at 60mph it gets very loud. Some simple ear plugs will solve the issue and it's comfortable for me. I'm not taking any points off because it's an adventure helmet and not really meant for high-speed riding. Again, this is probably due to the lightness factor, it is a very light helmet and can be worn comfortably with ear plugs, I'll take that trade weight vs noise any day.- The inner visor switch is in the typical left side spot where we mount our communication systems... not sure where I should mount a new coms kit, as my current system is not bi-directional- The quick release cheek pads are a nice thought, but I find them disengaging often while trying to remove/put on the helmet and I would have preferred the snap buttons.- The screws to remove the shield are easily scratched, so be sure to use a plastic tool or cover your screwdriver in a cloth tape. I'm going to repaint my screws.- The cheek pads are too tight for my chubby face - I'm breaking them in, but it has me in a Zoolander cheek suck in pose while riding right now. Edit: I cut a slit into the front of the covers and cut out enough foam to make it fit my face, it’s comfortable now- The metal triangle in the helmet is silver on a black helmet... WHY??? It takes away from the overall lookAnyway, the gripes I have with the helmet are small, I really love this helmet for what it is and a big shout out to LS2 for putting out a solid product at a really affordable price for budget conscious riders. A lot of thought was put into this helmet, thanks LS2!

Nice helmet
So far so good. Not the lightest helmet out there, but not too bad. When off road and the visor is up there is plenty of ventilation.

Great value for the money
I wear a 3X I bought a 3X and it fits perfectly. Obviously this isn’t something you would want to wear for long highway runs. It’s not as quiet as a street helmet. But for the price point it’s a good value.

It’s very light weight. It is mostly a summer helmet.
Still off-roading in Northern Minnesota in December. The sun is very low and I wish the visor on the helmet would go further down but that won’t be an issue in the summer. A lot of the vents don’t have the ability to close so it is cool in the 40 degree range. It is tight but comfortable and very light weight. It needs a pin lock put on the visor as it fogs up in the cool weather.

EUC Helmet
I use this helmet while riding my EUC (electronic unicycle) and it works great. If anything changes with the helmet and my liking of it, I will update this review. Here are some PROs and CONs:PROs-Price is right.-Full face helmet.-Built-in sun shade.-Helmet is comfortable (I wear a 7-5/8" hat and purchased the XXL).-Keeps bugs out, which is needed in some stretches where I do the majority of my riding.-Clasp is the ratcheting type and is very easy to manipulate.-Helmet doesn't seem to be loud. The fastest I've ridden with it is about 40 MPH.-I can easily scratch my face or swipe out the occasional bug while wearing the helmet since the visor is large (bugs get in under my chin).-Turning to look over my shoulder and see behind me is super easy as the helmet has great visibility.CONs-Padding is not very breathable and will certainly need cleaning more often.-The main visor locks into the closed position with a small tab that latches over a ridge on the mouthpiece. I am worried this may be a weak point because latching and unlatching it feels very tough but, time will tell.Overall I am very happy with this helmet. It has taken me four helmets to find one that is comfortable and it is certainly a learning experience. It came with a chin flap that can be installed to cover the underside of your chin. I did not install this yet but may give it a shot once the weather chills a bit. Until then, I really like this helmet.

Great helmet
Not the quietest but I don’t care. I remove the peak visor because I wear this for dual sporting as well a cruising at 80mph on a harley. I don’t use any earpieces when I ride so can’t comment on that I regularly need to snug the faceshield screws because they get loose with use but I don’t care about that either. Good lid, good price. First one lasted almost 5 yrs, on my second now, may get a third when needed.

5 stars but not for me.
This would be a great helmet if I weren't a Highway driver. That's my mistake though and not LS2's. Build quality is good and its both lightweight and breathable. Fits good too! However, I would not recommend it for 80+mph riding.

Meah.
First off, the helmet looks great. The graphics and finish are awesome. The fit was true to size and comfortable. The cheek pads are a bit tight and give you chipmunk face though. The ratchet style chin strap is a favorite of mine, but the release tether is a bit too short to find with gloves on.Now the bad.The wind noise is horrible, visor up or down. Hearing your bike on the highway isn't a good bet. The visor has pretty significant distortion and will mess with your depth perception, I'd say dangerously so off road. Luckily I prefer keeping my visors up unless it's raining. The above mentioned cheek pads are so tight, that pulling the helmet off your head also pulls the cheek pads down, which is how you remove them from the helmet. So be prepared to get in the habit of reinstalling at least one pad most of the time.
