Works great
Worked like a dream. Watch the video on the website, it takes a minute to get the hang of it. I wish the plastic was harder so the tool would last longer, but I think I can probably get a couple sets of pistons out of it.

Use for 8 pistons and toss it
This tool did great once you get a hang of the rotating motion to get the clip in. You do lose plastic material each time so make sure to clean the piston pin area off. This one lasted me 8 pistons, some were like butter and some not so much. But this beats using any tools that may badly score the piston or pin. If I had time I would machine this out if aluminum. Once I finished it was almost a smooth nub so went in the trash after. Chuck it up as a cost for assembly

Much better then using a screw driver or your fingers.
It worked well on my Mahle pistons. You need to take your time and make sure the clip is started in the groove from the beginning. The action is all in the wrist as they say. Downside is it’s made of hard plastic so won’t hold up for a professional but fine for a weekend warrior or one time engine build.

Doesn't work as good as the videos show.
This tool might be good if you buy the metal version, but the plastic version wears down right away. Only worked for one circlip before the plastic was worn away. Spend extra and buy the metal version...

Definitely makes it easier
So, I bought this putting together my 347 stroker and after struggling to install my clips in my piston with a couple pocket screw drivers i gave in and bought the tool. Would suggest this tool if you have these pistons. I only gave it a 4-star review for the fact that you will need a new one very other set of pistons. Wish it was made of metal

perfect for one or two engines
This saved my fingers and made pinning the pistons very easy compared to hand. It's plastic and priced for single or a few uses. After a few pistons I had to scrape the plastic sides to smooth it up were it goes into the pin area.. But wasn't really an impact. If you want this for work go with the metal version
