Love the 1/4 thickness, perfect for yoga, really prevents my feet from slipping during downward dog and keeps my head cushioned during child pose with its memory foam feature. I do find that the lettering on the mat should be facing the floor for better stability, in the beginning my hands used to sweat and slip during downward dog but I learnt to press in all fingers and eventually my hands stopped sweating, not sure why, maybe backside of gaining more experience...

I actually LIKED the yoga mat, but it didn't last. I only used the mat for 2 months and there were giant gouges coming out of it...the last one was the size of a fingernail. This happened at the places where my hands and feet generally were. There is NOT a 2-year warranty on the product; you can only return for the first 2 months. No one responded to my request for assistance. Don't waste your money.

Not very sticky - very thick mat but it made the grip not as good. Hard to stick through the poses. Strap doesn't hold in place - it slides down the mat and is basically pointless.

This is an ok mat. I was not expecting the best mat for the cost so overall I am happy. However It was obviously sitting in the sun because it is bleached out at one end and it smelled horrible for about a week. Also the indentation from the straps is still on the mat weeks later. The company's sent me an email asking how I liked it. I told them what I am writing now and got no response.

I ordered this yoga mat and it came quickly. I’ve been stretching for a few years now, but it wasn’t until recently that I started seriously practicing yoga. I’ve been really happy with this one so far! It’s black, which I like, and looks really nice. The surface is very comfortable, as well as really grippy. I’ve had no problems slipping on it. I do sweat occasionally, and even then I’ve had no issues. It’s foamy and thick, which I really like. I’ve used thinner mats in the past, and when put on hardwood floors, it’s been painful on my feet, hands, hips, and especially, knees. But I’ve had no issues with this mat! No pain, it’s felt good and soft. It’s also odor free and eco-friendly. It comes with a nice carrying strap, making it easy to transport, and keeps it tightly rolled. I’ve used it quite a bit, and another thing I really like is that the edges don’t curl up. I’ve experienced that with previous mats, and it really bugs me when I’m trying to hold poses. So far I haven’t found any negatives with this mat!
