Cover is well made and fits Moleskine hardcover perfectly. Looks good and feels good in hand. The optional pen holder is made of the same thick leather as the cover so the loop maintains its shape and prevents the journal from laying flat. However, between the hard cover of the notebook and the leather cover it is still rigid enough to write on even if elevated from the desktop. Very close to perfect, using thinner leather for the pen loop and it would be.

Product is exactly what I hoped it would be - a dark brown leather notebook cover with tan/neutral stitching that perfectly fits the Moleskine cahier journal notebooks that it was advertised to fit. I got the pen holder with it and strongly recommend this add-on. I expect I will use this for many years to come.

Amazing journal cover. Made from great quality leather and durable. The hand stiching adds unique character and truly feels custom. Delivery was super fast (arrived about two weeks after ordering and I was expecting at least a month). The pen holder is a definite must to have to add to the cover. Currently I have a larger planner in it (not moleskine) so it does not fit "perfectly" but it does with the moleskine. I definitely will be buying other products from this seller.
