Love this cup!
This has now become my everyday cup. Prior to this, i had a ceramic mug with a "manly" touch to it. it was my favorite mug until this one. I recently started getting more into bushcraft and i saw that bushcrafters would normally use a kuksa, but i just wasn't feeling comfortable using a wooden mug for my everyday beverage consumption. So...i looked up a synthetic alternative and came across this, and I'm glad i did. this cup is actually made of natural plant fibers and resin, and it's biodegradable, so it technically fits the overall theme of bushcraft. Another cool thing is that when you have a hot beverage such as tea or coffee, the mug will insulate you from the heat and it's safe to touch. it's also very durable, and just very cool. Plus, it comes with a little teaspoon, which i wasn't expecting. Now, it is on the small side so if you want something that can accommodate more of your beverage of choice, they also have a larger size.Overall, i give this item two thumbs up. It is on a pricey side as far as mugs are concerned, but compare it to a kuksa, it's actually very reasonable. Plus, this cup i think is durable enough that it will last you for many years. i highly recommend it.

Great niche item.
Absolutely amazing item...if you have a reason to own it. I got this for re-enactment and LARPs (hah!) where atmosphere-correct cookware that looks the part, is washable, and doesn't burn your hands is the holy (literal) grail. The Kupilka Cup fills these needs, looking at home on any pirate's belt, Viking camp stump, Colonial Militia table, or other fantastic setting.Has maintained looks and washability through 4+ years of hard use, including multiple instances of being rolled over on rocks by a large man in plate mail, dropped, tossed in a trunk with coffee dregs still inside, and generally abused.I don't really know why you'd buy one of these instead of more conventional wares if you didn't 'need' the looks, but you have the reason (or just the want) it's exactly as advertised.

Great Cup
I love this cup. It's constantly clipped to my bag, and gets used almost daily. Lightweight, durable. I don't have to worry about breaking it. I have purchased many more for family and friends and they also love it.It has a bit of a pine tar smell/taste, doesn't bother me though.UPDATEThe pine tar smell/taste has gone away. So it appears to have a break in period.

Love this cup!
It's not the lightest cup for camping and hiking, but it is the coolest. I've used this cup for many years for eating and drinking. Unlike the traditional wooden Kuksa, this cup can be washed with soap, so it can handle oily foods and milk whereas you would NEVER have any of those things in an all wood cup. I even 'branded' the bottom of the cup with the Philmont cattle brand...makes a great souvenir.

I love this
One of my favorite purchases a few years ago. It's become a signature item for me. I use it outdoors, it goes with me even on a short day hike. I drink coffee out of it on Sunday mornings at home. I drank scotch out of it at my wedding and you can see it in a few of my wedding photos. It is sturdy. I replaced the natural cord it comes with some leather I can take on or off. I normally have it hanging in camp or secured to my pack when walking. It insulates enough with hot drinks in it that you will not burn your lips or hand. You could do well enough with any old plastic cup for outdoors drinking, or a nesting cup, or some such. I'm a simple guy and I like my outdoor gear simple and multi-use. This cup is a guilty pleasure, one of the few "premium" items I take with me on my outdoor adventures.

it feels like the plastic/composite its made of
it feels like the plastic/composite its made of. it looks pretty rustic. Its a bitbigger than a tea cup, smaller than a regular coffee cup. The spoon is teaspoon sizedFor what it is, its very nice. Its a cute gift for the hippy in your life - or the treehugger in youI like it and will probably buy more for gifts

Kupilka Cup
I like this cup. It is a fun item to have in your kit. If you are a traditional bushcrafter who prefers a wooden kuksa then you probably wouldn't like this cup, but if you're more modern then; Pros: easy to clean, dishwasher safe, will not absorb odors or flavors like wood may, won't easily crack or break, nice old world style kuksa with modern practicality.Cons: I think a little pricey for a cup, has a faint odor that does dissipate after a couple of weeks, cannot be placed anywhere near a fire like a metal cup can be, so not a versatile in that respect.

Awesome cup! Came with a spoon
Awesome cup! Came with a spoon, nice touch. Fraction of price of a 'real' wooden bushcraft mug, and not prone to rotting/bacteria/odors/whatnot. Going to love having this at my desk during the work week, and on weekends out in the woods.

It's cute
These are ridiculously expensive because of shipping, but if you want one that's the price you pay, I did.

great service, lovely cup!
Wanted something durable for camping which reminded us of trip to Lapland- and this is perfect!Only room for improvement would be the addition of a reindeer hide/sinew/leather strap to hang it up with- that would have been a nice touch!

Husband loves this to a ridiculous extent
My husband bought this for camping and he won’t shut up about it. It’s a problem. He takes photos of it. I’ve never seen a grown man react this way to a beverage vessel. If you have a mountain man in your life, buy him one of these. But buckle up, you’ll be hearing him talk about it for the next 20 years.

Great Kupilka Cup
So far I’ve only used it for tea but the cup is sturdy, has no problem with being dropped, transmits heat enough to warm your hands , and I love that it’s recycled material All good! I Had a couple of small issues with the order but thanks to the great staff of Passion 4 Outdoor - Amazon Marketplace those issues were quickly resolved.Thank You

Top Tasse
