Good material, not easy to cut perfectly
I bought this product and installed it on the rear step of my ‘98 Sea Ray boat. The product material is grippy and helps prevent slipping, even when wet. The material came in a roll and needed to be cut to fit. Made a template and transferred it to the back of the SeaDek. I cut it with a razor knife and the finished edge looked rough. I wasn’t happy with it. I purchased a Fisker brand titanium rotary cutter and used that. MUCH better result on the edges. I HIGHLY recommend using the rotary cutter. Also, the surface needs to be prepped well before adhering the SeaDek. Once it’s stuck down, it’s down and you can’t remove and reset it.

The best product for your boat!
I first experienced this product on a boat in Belize flats fishing. I loved you could be barefoot on the boat without burning your feet. I originally bought this for the top platform on my drift boat. Now iam using it for other places on my boat. I love the way the product adheres to the surface. Once you put it on , it’s for good!

Worth the cost for kayak
Not cheap but definitely sticks well and provides great soundproofing and traction.

I liked it, quality material...it won’t be perfect if you install it yourself...but hey I’m getting compliments so not that bad for the first time...key is..have a very very very sharp pen knife and a big piece of plywood to cut on...use a large straightedge and you’re set
