Silver Bells

After reading the Manning Brothers Same Time Next Year, I had to order Silver Bells s a Holiday Feeling. I did not like the other two stories. So when last November I could get Silver Bells by itself I cancelled the Holiday feeling. So far I have not found one book of Debbie Macomber that I did not like. There are some of her books I do not have as I have a kindle and those are paperback. When ever they do become available on kindle I would buy them

I expected something with a little more substance, not what pretty much amounted to a short story for $3.99. I love Debbie Macomber, but this seemed she tossed it off. And either I've read this book before or one almost exactly like it. Amazon should be required to note if it is a reprint.

I rated this switch 5 stars because I enjoyed reading this book. I think it really took the Christmas season to the fullest. The characters were really believable.

I am loyal Debbie Macomber fan, but her last two books left me feeling like I was being sort of cheated. She has written two books that developed her characters and told a story but was way too short, too quick read and needed more. I was disappointed. They could have almost have qualified as short stories or mini books.

Debbie Macomber's stories add a settling joy to reading time. Each story keeps us in touch with old friends and adds a few new friends for us to add to the list of members of the Manning family.

Wonderful book

This isn't as good as the Blossom Street and Cedar Cove Books. I was a little disappointed. Reader be warned only half this book is a Macomber book.
