Ilusion

Watching the TV series, Music Voyager, I encountered the Colombian musician and band Fonseca...and was immediately taken by the synchronous harmony of the singers, the great Latin rock & roll beats, the sweet melodies, and the utter joy of performance. The handsome Juan Fernando Fonseca has an attractive voice, which is recorded clear and bright. The romantic lyrics are provided (in Spanish, of course). The album is fun, up-lifting listening. Even serious ballads, such as Soledad, seem only a fleeting condition, as the following tunes are happy dances. The inclusion of an accordion from time to time, as in track 7, Historia de Amor, instills a folk music feeling. The rock band also includes various Latin percussion, trumpet, and trombone. The group is immensely popular in Colombia and they have a fair number of albums. This most recent (2011) album is among their best. The changing styles from rock, to folk rock, to Latin pop, to alternative rock make the group difficult to categorize but demonstrate their professionalism and broad appeal. This is a world-class band and I would like to hear them in person. Meanwhile, come dance and enjoy the good cheer of this album.

Beautiful, current Colombian music for a quiet dinner or a large at-home party. Got to see Fonseca in NYC and love hearing the recording over and over.

Beautiful lyrics and great music to cheer up your spirit or kill some nostalgy if you are away from Colombia. The rythm on the first track is amazing, I can't get tired of it!!!It could be easily used for Zumba or aerobics too!!

I really enjoyed this album from Fonseca. It was everything that all my friends had mentioned it would be. I really do enjoy listening to it and continue playing on the road and at home.

I am a huge fan of Fonseca. I think his combination of tropical rhythms, with ballads and rock is wonderful. This album is good, but when compared to his previous albums it just doesn't quite make it

This is the 3rd Fonseca CD I purchase, and it's just as good as the first two. It arrived in good condition and I listen to it often.

Die CD enthält viele schöne Lieder, reicht allerdings nicht an die "Corazon" ran.Insgesamt sind die meisten Lieder relativ ruhig, daher sehr angenehme Hintergrundmusik.Nachtrag 01.06.2014: inzwischen habe ich die CD öfter gehört und bin begeistert: Besonders Ilusión, Eres mi sueno und Soledad sind wunderschön, und auch der Rest lohnt den Kauf!

たまたま、ラテン諸国のラジオをネットで聞いていたら、いくつかの国で何度か流れたFonsecaの曲。誰だろう？この甘い声の持ち主は…と、名前を頼りに捜してみたら、コロンビアの歌手でした。インタビューによると、一番の場所は家庭、愛しているのは奥さんと娘さん、そしてボランティアにも貢献しているとか。DLでもCDでもいいから手に入れたいと思い、検索したところアマゾンがヒット。初めてアマゾンを利用しましたが、早いし安いし、受け取りも郵便受けに入れてもらえるので、とっても楽でした。もちろん曲はどれも素晴らしい。アコーディオンなどの電子音だけでない優しさを取り入れた、ラテンとポップがうまく絡み合ったノリのよい音楽で、仕事後に心身を癒してくれます。
