Swan Song

An interesting story, with strong characters and deep details with so many facets. You would not want to put it down before finishing.

It's an interesting read and keeps one riveted . Although not fast paced, the reader does not become bored. However there are so many different unrelated characters and events at the beginning, that one easily forgets what happened to some in the previous chapters. But these all become interconnected at the end and are integral to the climax

It is a different type of read but interesting. Good wins over evil type full of hope and promise .

A possible look at how human optimism and drive can overcome the horrors of the nuclear apocalypse. The idea of the real nature of a person bursting through as their "outer face" is nice, but it is inadequately explored.

Even though there is a bit of gore in here this book is thoroughly entertaining as I have never read one in this theme.

This book is just…amazing, wonderful, outstanding. I’ve always like post nuclear war themes, was looking for some books about it and found this book. The author’s way of describing everything is just amazing, it’s just like you are in there. The characters are so likeable and deep, you really immerse yourself with them and the story. I am suffering from this book hangover now. I miss it so much.

Very small book. Compare the sizing against another you have. Hard to hold open.

With the first chapter I didn’t think I was going to like this book… I ended up loving it… I didn’t want it to end.. absolutely worth reading

I have just finished reading this book for the 4th time. It is my all time favourite book. I am a big fan of all of Robert McCammon's books and I am surprised that he is not more popular in Australia. He is just the best storyteller and anybody buying Swan Song will not regret it. I look forward to reading it again in a few years time. I have all his books in paperback (which I will never part with) and now kindle.
