An excellent shirt, at a great value, I'm very happy with my purchase.
I'm 5'10" and weigh 166, I purchased size M. I have dozens of Merino Wool t-shirts, and many other pieces of Merino Wool clothing from many different manufacturers. Many from IceBreaker and other well known brands so when I saw this product for less than 1/2 the cost of mainstream brands, I thought I'd give it a try. First of all, it fits just right and isn't too short like some brands. I like the shirt to go down to my hips, and these do.The product came quickly, and I was pleased with the packaging and presentation. But really, how good is the product? Some products have very strict "washing instructions" so I checked that, and saw it was pretty much what most of the Merino Wool shirts I owned required. I've not yet washed this shirt, but see no evidence that it's any different than many of the other shirts I own. It's got a nice soft feeling, and isn't itchy, some products are a bit itchy so I don't wear them next to my skin. This shirt feels great, looks good, and seems well made. That said, I'll be watching it over then next few months after a few washing/drying cycles and see how it holds up. I'm not careful with my clothing, I have a front loader washer, but I don't separate my clothes, and wash and dry them on "normal" although I have a fairly "smart" washer and dryer so my clothes don't get excess heat or mechanical stress.I hope this company is successful to the point where they can bring out other shirts at this excellent price point. I do love my wool clothing, even using a wool t-shirt as a pajama top.At 1/3 the cost of my icebreaker shirts, it's a GREAT value.

Great shirt!
I got this shirt as a baselayer for hiking. Performed well on a 5 mile hike. It's light, wicks away sweat nicely. Also worked out in it. Non binding, layers great and dries quickly. I'm 6' 230lbs with a 50" chest. The XXL fits true.

Good quality at an affordable price
I love these new shirts from Merino.tech!! I bought two of them for a trip I had where I wanted to pack less and they definitely exceeded expectations. Super breathable, comfortable, and a stylish fit. Worked as a great base layer for colder temperatures. Definitely felt like it held more heat than a traditional cotton shirt. And best of all, didn't have to pack multiple shirts because the two I had got me through the whole trip! Many people complain about the little tag in the corner but honestly I kinda like it. And if it really bothered someone that much they could just snip the tag off without damaging the shirt. There's a lot of comments mentioning that it is slightly itchy and I think most merino wool products are like that before the first wash. I did notice it was just barely itchy when I first tried it on but honestly I meant to change back into a cotton shirt and forgot for hours and went about my day wearing this Merino.tech shirt and I didn't once notice that it was itchy. So maybe it's just placebo!I highly recommend this shirt!!

Very comfortable and makes a great base layer.
Product seems to be well made. Stitching is well done and fabric itself is as you would expect of merino wool. Fits well, and it is very soft. I put it on by itself and walked outside in 56F temps and it actually did a pretty good job of keeping me warm. Obviously I wouldn't wear it outdoors in those temps by itself for extended periods, but merino wool is amazing and this shirt does a great job of fighting off the chill. I'm taking it camping next weekend in what will likely be frigid temps, and I'll update my review after an extended test. Stay tuned...

Good when the price was $25. Now at $45, it is ok.
Update:I just receive a reply back. Apparently, I never received their previous email (which they actually sent in a TIMELY manner). I could not find the old email in the SPAM folder but I am certain that they did send it. For customer service, I am changing the rating from 4 stars to 5 stars!==I have four (4) of these, which I got for about $25 a piece. The first pair included a free pair of socks. The third order include a piece of paper asking to send an email to get a sample -- of which I never received a reply. The fourth pair, I complained about not receiving a reply for that email and they told me that "they could not find my review". I was not aware that I needed to write a review to get the sample pair. Well, this is the review. The shirts are OK for $25, the neck will wrinkle after the first wash and it doesn't look too good but it is still functional. I do not like the big label at the bottom of the shirt that says MerinoTech.

Same quality as the more well know and much more expensive brand!
The media could not be loaded. Great t-shirt at a great price. My husband hasn't worn it yet but the quality seems on par with bigger merino brands at a fraction of the price!

Why buy anything else?

I wanted to love it, but it betrayed me.
When the shirt first arrived, it fit just fine. I'm 5'11" and weigh 180lbs and bought a large. It was on the very edge of being too short right out of the bag, but it still hit an acceptable point on my waist. I'd say a large = a medium for any other t-shirt. That should have been my warning. I wore the shirt to work for 3 days straight and slept in it. Body odor was minimal by day 3 and I was impressed. I washed it by itself, inside out, cold water, on the hand wash cycle with a very small amount of wool-friendly detergent. Essentially, I followed the instructions on the tag. Shirt came out with pilling which wasn't a deal breaker, but man did it shrink! I didn't even put it through the dryer! Now, it's basically a belly shirt and rides about an inch above my belt and fits like a small from any other tshirt. I really wanted soooooo bad to like this shirt. I'd get another in XL to see if it would do better but at for the $40+ price I won't be taking the gamble. I'd return it, but it's obviously not in original condition. If you buy it, try it on. Then imagine the bottom of the shirt riding up another 3 inches after its first wash. If you can't live with that, then return it immediately and save your $$. As you can see from my pics, I have a normal Fruit of the Loom large cotton tshirt on the left, my merino.tech on the right, and my 6 year old daughter's unicorn tshirt on top for another scale reference.

Great merino wool for a great price
I just went to Manning Park for a hike wearing this merino t-shirt. The Merino-Tech shirt was durable on this 6 hour day hike. I also did several 10 km runs with this shirt. Wool shirts have a great quality where they keep you warm when wet but cool with a breeze. I only wear merino for exercise and for outdoor adventures. I own many Icebreakers and MEC merino wool. This is just as good with after a few washings to get out the itch. Also, the 165 g/m weight of the merino is perfect for me for exercise. It is not too thin to feel like it may tear and not too warm. The fit is athletic - not baggy but not skin tight like Underarmor. When first washed, it was slightly itchy but the itch has gone away with the second wash.I will buy again then the price is right.

Comfortable
I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas. My intention was for him to wear it for work, since he works outdoors all day in the Canadian winter. He hasnt worn it to work yet but he loves the feel and warmth so he has been wearing it as an undershirt. It could be worn just as a tshirt with his jeans, which I suspect he will do when it warms up again. I can see this being a staple shirt for the motorcycle also. I bought his usual size and it fit him. He works out, so I was concerned about the arms, but that isnt a problem. He has a 17" neck and that isn't a problem either. The only thing I can see that might be an issue is the length of the shirt. It is great with his jeans but when working and always moving, I think it will easily come untucked. I think we will be buying him another one.

I purchased this for my husband and he really likes it. It's lightweight lovely soft feel to it . I waited to wash it first before I reviewed it being wool wasn't sure how it would be after washing it. I must say I'm impressed. It kept its shape and its softness excellent shirt well worth the money
