Awesome stroller!
I have a ten year old daughter and for her i bought a Graco travel system, which was nice, but sooo freakin bulky, big & heavy, and i traded my firebird in for a jetta to have trunk space for the damn thing, and it still didnt fit in the opening of the trunk, so i ended up buying a $200 Peg Perego umbrella stroller which was pretty nice except the storage basket under the seat was not good, any way this child i wanted to avoid goin through several strollers, so i searched all the stores in my area and ended up online, because all the stores only carry cheaper end, like graco and evenflow, travel systems. and they were all bulky and had alot of plastic on them, I found several strollers i liked on amazon and ebay, the PRam CIty DRiver, Tuetiona t-linx and a few others, but i liked that you could change the color of the canopy, and JJ Coles came with the infant car seat adapter, i couldnt afford a $200 infant seat, so i did not purchase the whole system, i love the stroller!! MY mom couldn't get over the fact of me spending $400 on a stroller that i couldn't even test or see at a store, but i didnt want a bulky stroller, and I love the fact that the infant seat does NOT sit inside the toddler seat, it attaches to the stroller frame, and looks nice also, its lightweight, pushes great, has a nice storage basket underneath, and folds up nice... I would definitely recommend this stroller over any other one, other then the few i listed above(which are very similar to this one)...It's worth the price, just needs to come with some kind of cupholder, or a attachable tray insted of bar for baby's bottle/sippy & snack tray. JJ cole needs to come out with those attachments to fit their strollers, i ordered one for the top handle for my stuff and it was sooo small, but LOVE THE STROLLER< its awesome!!!

Best multi purpose and convenient stroller on the market despite a few minor features that need to be adressed
5 stars for concept. Out of all the strollers this one was the best for me because you could swivel it 360 degrees! So convenient! Especially when baby is youngest and you can't take your eyes off of baby, or when they fall asleep and want privacy and quiet and face them towards you. Also helpful when baby is youngest and they would rather face their parent than he world. Love the recline and pram feature this was used a lot when she was an infant so comfy. In fact my baby slept in her stroller as a bassinet because it was a huge bed for her and so cozy when she was just born and I could swivel her to face me next to the bed. She is now a year old and when I have to change her diaper I just recline the stroller seat flat. I used to use it bassinet style to change her but for convenience while she is sitting in it seat style curved and all, I just tilt it to it's 3rd and lowest position, pull the sun cover all the way down and quickly change her diaper in public, then tilt it back up and swivel it around so she can face the world (takes seconds to do that). A really obnoxious con is that the basket is so tiny and cramped on the bottom you can't really fit anything anything of substance in it. On the plus side when my daughter is walking or I'm holding her in my ergo baby carrier we would shove bags upon shopping bags and everything in between on her stroller in bassinet style. You can carry a mountain on that so convenient! My baby carrier could fit on the bottom basket but you just have to force it through all the poles at the bottom to get into the basket. My baby bag couldn't fit in the basket though. It stuck halfway out unless I forced it all the way in which woulda took forever to yank back out. All of the features of the quick swivel and recline and bassinet (literally seconds to swivel and seconds toto recline, and about a minute to turn into bassinet and swith back up to a toddler seat again) made the stroller the best most awesome choice for me! The manufacturer just needs to change a few things, like change the size of the bottom basket. I give some of the craftsmanship quality 3 stars because after a year of minor use the foam handle tore on it's own (it could be due to the fact that i live in Maui and it is very hot and humid here and i leave the stroller in the trunk of my car, and so the fat cracked and tore because of the heat). It ripped on the inside of the handle curve, and so the tear opened up on the inside curves of the handle exposing the metal bar underneath. I honestly feel embarrassed when people look at that because it makes my stroller look really cheap! Because it is ripped and broken up there (just the black foam that covers the handle). The last major con for me is that the stroller is extremely extremely heavy! I struggle when putting it away and just forget about traveling with it because it is too heavy to keep folding and carrying on a bus or what not and it is super bulky! Not to mention you have to carry the super heavy and bulky wheel part, but you have to carry the toddler seat as a separate piece, and that's really big as well too bad you can't fold that in half or anything, so you have to find room for 2 giant pieces. Also in bassinet style when my daughter tried to stand on the edge the thing will sag and tilt. I guess too that it is because the way it is attached all the support is in the middle center spot where the stroller pivots. You only notice the unsturdiness in this situation so it's not really a bother. In every proper way the stroller was made to use it (my daughter should not be standing in bassinet form anyway), you shouldn't have an unsturdy problem. Last but not least it comes with a car seat attachment if you want to use the grace, first choice, or Chico car seat. I used my safety first air car seat in it and it fit perfectly! I'm sure you can stick any car seat in it since there are 2 size positions the adaptable car seat attachment can adjust too (you just can't buckle the attachment belt around perfectly that's why they don't list a whole bunch or car seats as compatible). I recommend this car seat for everybody!!!!!!!!!! If you travel a lot or don't have help carrying it that's when considering something else comes to mind. Just hope they add a better quality handle foam and bigger basket soon and shave off some weight.

Still love it after 14 Months!
This JJ Cole stroller is fantastic. As an infant, our son traveled in style in the bassinet. Now that that he is older, we use the stroller portion more, but love that it converts to a bassinet when he is sleeping. This is a larger stroller, but has never been an issue for us. The weight and size is good. When we take it to restaurants, though, they do need to make a little extra room. It folds nicely and fits in our trunk without issue. The quality has been great and held up well in almost daily use. No squeaks or creaks. The stroller is striking and gets lots of compliments everywhere we go. We have been very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

Quality Stroller, Don't Hesitate
Great stroller for the price. VERY VERY smooth compared to most strollers (you will notice a difference in handling). Easy to adjust and put together. PROS: Swivels in a 360 rotation (great for conditions of the environment), smooth, compact, not too heavy, has add-ons, nice brake system (one push locks both wheels), medium priced CONS: main handle has soft rubbery material that can easily rip, reclining the seat isn't the best system, the actual seat is good but even when adjusted to a toddler its a little flimsy, NO TRAY, NO FOOT REST Overlooking the adaptable cons... I still rate this puppy a 5 star for its quality and smoothness. I would buy again for sure.

Love the way it looks, not built very sturdy.
UPDATE: "I've returned the stroller. Was not happy with how "loose" everything felt. I think it's b/c everything is centered on just the one pivot. I loved the seat set up for a bassinet and the toddler seat. Hoping I can find a stroller similar to this one but more sturdy." Ok....so I debated and debated on which stroller to buy and I WISH I could test more strollers out in the stores before buying them. However, being a Prime member has given me the chance to try out strollers and return for free if I'm not satisfied. So here goes: PROS: Looks very high end, couldn't believe the looks I got at the mall this past weekend. LOVE THE STYLE Adjustable handle bar, which is great, b/c my husband is shorter and I'm taller. the Canopy is HUGE! I love that it can change from a toddler seat to a bassinet. And my daughter can recline back in the toddler seat when she gets sleepy or is drinking a bottle. I love that you can either have baby face you or face outward into the world. Great support for baby's body. IT includes a car seat attachment, so you can use your car seat...if you have the right one! CONS: It seems to be just a tad bit poorly built. There is a lot of movement on the frame when everything is locked into place. Going up the stairs all by yourself can be tricky. And stairs at some places you cannot avoid. I think it's because you can do spin the child seat around and all that weight/pressure is put into the center of the stroller. The cushion on the belt attachment is awkward. I feel like it needs to be attached to the bottom buckle. But it is not, and can come off and get lost if the seat belt does not stay buckled when in storage. The basket underneath is not all that big. however, I've purchased a Mommy Hook to place on the handlebar to help in this situation. There is no storage for a cup holder/organizer. I have a Britax attachment that I've put onto the stroller. So far it works. But wish they had an attachment made specifically for the Broadway. I have a Britax car seat and it does not work with the car seat attachment frame. Last but not least, there is no child tray. So when she is older there is no place for her to put her snacks or a milk/juice cup. So a little disappointed in that, but I guess I knew that when I was buying it. I wish they would come out with some more attachments. For the money...I spent around $379.....it's not worth it. If it were priced at $250 that would probably be a great price, since it's an all in one---toddler seat and bassinet. Most strollers that have the bassinet, toddler seat and car seat attachment you usually have to buy as attachments.

nice stroller
I recently purchased this stroller for our soon to be baby girl. For the past couple months, I've been researching strollers endlessly, from cheap strollers to the bugaboo & uppababy. My husband and I would go to Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby to test out strollers & car seats, get overwhelmed and leave frustrated. I will be honest, one of the things that initially drew me to this stroller was the name and the fact that you can change out the canopy, but I continued to do much research. I truly believe their is no perfect stroller that will meet everyone's needs. I strongly suggest before registering or buying any stroller to consider what you need & what it's main use will be. Does it need to grow with family? Does it need to be all terrain? Does it need a bassinet? Does it need car seat attachment? Do you want it to ride like a mercedes? Is it being used just for random walks around the block or do you live in big city? Do you want it to look stylish or could you careless? Do you need to carry it upstairs? Does it need to fit in a car, fold down? etc, etc, etc. Once you answer these questions, it will help narrow down where to look unless you have endless amounts of cash. We plan to mainly use ours for walks around the block (residential) and shopping. I preferred to have a bassinet as we are having the baby in the spring and would use it quite a bit throughout the summer (didn't want to use car seat everytime we took her for walk.. The uppababy vista & bugaboo's are beautiful strollers, ride amazingly, and to be honest, if money was no object, probably would have gone with the bugaboo, but we don't & I felt the quality/price was a bit overkill for our needs. I could never find the jjcole in the stores which made me very hesitant to purchase but I finally decided to try it because it met much of our needs from what I read: have a bassinet, have car seat attachment, be easy to put together/take apart, look somewhat cute, & ride nicely. While I haven't used it in every day life, I have to say this stroller meets all those needs thus far. I believe it is the same as the First Years Wave since they are the same company, so I when I saw it on sale i jumped and bought it figuring I could return it if I hated it. For a full size stroller, it is really light and was super easy to put together. It took me around 5-10 minutes and that was with me opening the packages and what not. Because of the weight, it does feel slightly flimsy, but then I went back to the store and tried them all out again, and to be honest, they all kind of feel flimsy to an extent, especially in the handle. I think this just did a bit more because it is light. The basket is a bit small underneath. It's not really the basket, but more the fact there isn't much depth, the bottom of the stroller gets in the way, so if you are using this in a big city and plan to do lots of shopping and put things other than baby stuff in it, I wouldn't recommend. I do like the fact you can change the canopy color, vs some of the others. while you have to take the seat off when you take it down, it's super easy and I'm not technically savvy! It's literally 2-3 moves to put it in the car and is not too heavy. Wheels turn very nicely but not all terrain so we will see how they hold up over time. Is it as nice as the more expensive strollers? no probably not, but it is half the price and offers very similar functionality for a suburban mom and lets us spend the extra money elsewhere. If I had bought it at 450 and planned to use the bassinet as a sleeping option for baby, I probably would have gone with the uppababy and bought it from buy buy baby with a bbb coupon as I have friends who use that as their childs full time bed. I bought this around $360 I believe, free shipping, & do not plan to use bassinet for sleeping purposes, so it was not worth the extra 300-500 hundred to go with elite brands.

Looks great but can't find it anywhere!
We're expecting our first child in November 2012, and I've been doing hours of research on strollers and carseats to find the best possible option - it's a big decision and a big investment. After reading product-reviews and user-reviews online, I narrowed my choices down to four travel systems I was considering, one of which was the JJ Cole Broadway stroller with JJ Cole carseat (the others were the Britax system, UppaBaby stroller with Peg Perego carseat, and Orbit system). I was really impressed with the JJ Cole Broadway stroller after watching the video - the bassinett feature and the affordable price were alluring. I went to Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby and other local retailers to see each of the strollers/carseats in person - each store carried each product EXCEPT FOR THE JJ COLE. Many stores, like BuyBuyBaby and Babies R Us, list the JJ Cole stroller/carseat on their website, but you have to ORDER it. We inquired about the product while working with salespeople who showed us the other strollers, but surprisingly not one store had ANY information on the JJ Cole products - some didn't even know JJ Cole carried a stroller or carseat - they just thought they were an accessories brand. In a couple of the stores, I spoke with salespeople who reasoned they didn't carry it because they didn't have room to accommodate a sample of every stroller, which makes sense except I have been to 7 stores and have yet to run into a salesperson who's seen it in person or have any knowledge of the product. Just last week, I planned a visit to NYC and felt there I would surely get to see this stroller or carseat in person. I went on the JJ Cole website and looked up retailers who carried the product IN STORE. One such place was Albee Baby Carriage in NYC, and I made a visit specifically to see this product. Once there, the salesman said he didn't have the JJ Cole carseat but he did have the stroller - FINALLY! But, what he showed me was a First Years stroller...and explained that JJ Cole bought the design from First Years and just changed the branding. When I asked if they had an actual JJ Cole stroller (rather than the old First Years version) he said yes, but it was in the basement, unassembled. He insisted it was the same thing, and that the First Years model was actually a better deal at the old price of $350. He even pulled up the JJ Cole website and compared several points on the First Years stroller to convince me it was the exact same. Sure enough, it was the same...but I insisted I wanted to see the REAL PRODUCT, the actual JJ Cole model stroller, which he couldn't/wouldn't do. The (First Years) model he showed me was flimsy, and it wasn't nearly as impressive as I expected from the JJ Cole video (for example, the handlebar that moves from front-facing to rear-facing was not sturdy even while in a fixed, secure position). But, I couldn't be sure these weaknesses were improved in the "new" model because I never saw it!!! While in NYC, I also went to other stores that "carry" the JJ Cole products (like Giggle and BuyBuyBaby), but they didn't have any knowledge or information on them (and certainly didn't carry samples in the stores). There were no other retailers in Manhattan that were listed as carrying the JJ Cole stroller in store. There were some stores listed on the JJ Cole website that were located just a short drive out of Manhattan, but by that point, I was reluctant to continue going out of the way to find this stroller when there clearly is no guarantee I'll see the actual product. I'm left disappointed and frustrated: Why is it IMPOSSIBLE to see an actual JJ Cole stroller or carseat? Has anyone else had this issue - or am I the only one who has pursued it this much? I really wanted to see this product, I really wanted to like it. What company doesn't promote their product by having current models accessible in stores? Who would make an investment like this without seeing the actual product? I've read the reviews here, they all seem favorable - did you all order this stroller sight unseen??

Not for long day trips...
It's not a terrible stroller but it has very little cushion and absorbs sun rays intensely, (we should've anticipated that with a black stroller), so our little guy never stays in it for long. We regret making this purchase unfortunately.
