Great value, the darker version is hugely useful for video.
The darker version of this is utterly indispensible for LOG video with high ISOs forced by the camera, combined with fast lenses you'd like to open up for depth control/"bokeh". And only the wildly expensive PolarPro has a similar option. And while I suppose the PolarPro might be somehow better - I'm simply not rich enough to find out! In the meantime the K&F has served very well. I use this primarily on a Fuji X-T3 with f1.2 and f1.4 prime lenses, shooting F-LOG at the required minimum 640 ISO. Secondarily on a Fuji X-H1 (800 ISO LOG!) and even a Nikon D750 for occasional stills.** Hey K&F! Do you read reviews? I wish you offered the dark version in smaller diameters (e.g. 62mm) as I'd get another to use with the majority of my prime lenses with no step-up ring. **

Outpaces much more expensive filters.
I bought this for mostly waterfall photography because my big name brand 5-10 stop ND was overkill for my needs. My exposures were 30 seconds to one minute, so I didn't push this filter to the extreme, but I see no artifacts or color cast (beyond the expected shift from long exposure to begin with). You are not wasting your money. Great investment!

Upgrade your footage
The media could not be loaded. The ND filter itself is extremely high quality. Even the packaging is amazing. I love the case ,the ND filter works excellently with almost no artifacts introduced to your photos. I've got to say, hands down the best ND filter I have ever used. FINALLY!!!!Something that works for us, instead of the other way around. It’s an VND that I can trust and use over and over again and still grade my slog3 footage with no issues. Amazing at reducing exposure while wide open during the day to make filming easier and look better. Helps expose your shot without sacrificing your aperture or shutter speed.

INACCURATE DESCRIPTION!
BEWARE, product not as advertised. I currently have the 4-32 ND of this same brand. I bought the 8-128 ND because I needed more stops. This one says up to 128, but I found it to be identical to my other one. Returned it.

This ND filter is amazing for waterfalls
I don't normally write reviews but this item brought me so much joy I had to. One of my best purchases ever. Went on a hike to a waterfall and was able to get fantastic photos in midday sunlight. I get to eliminate my half a dozen other ND filters because this single filter does all that and much much more. One downside is it is too thick for my lens hood to fit over the filter. Doesn't matter. The convenience and performance vastly outweigh that downside.

Quality and solid feel with clear optics.
The first thing that stands out is the nice packaging that it comes in. Definitely meant to keep the ND filter safe. I tried a few video clips and some photos with the filter attached to my Zeiss 24-70mm lens. The image quality was very good and the filter feels really substantial.I'll post some images after uploading to my computer.

Kind of 1/2 works
So if you don't go beyond about half way as far as filtering, the filter does ok. Otherwise it introduces a sepia-like color cast to the image. And even though it's designed to work with the ultra-wide iPhone lens, it really doesn't at the higher stops as you do get vignetting.

user case
Observations(1) ring twist too tight so end-up moving focus. Whole idea was to be able to add ND with ease and not having to re-adjust focus particularly at ND128 setting (8-stops)(2) While lens thread is 77mm, the front of the ND needs 82mm cap. No cap provide so an issue or remove ND after each shoot to protect it...it complicates adding/removing after shoot(3) while used on only few occasions, color shift noted on RAW pictures and needed PS correction .Need more testingIf you don't mind the above, a good ND variable filter
