This kit covers EVERYTHING that fails in our dryer. This is the second kit I've installed in 5 years, and mostly due to not cleaning the lint trap diligently. Install is easy (been there, done that before) and the price is good.

Fixed my moms dryer that lives 2hrs away In the mountains. Her old heater grid went out and broke. Used all the parts in the kit and ran the dryer got hot and air flow was good. She was able to do one load then called to tell me it was not heating again! Had to wait till the next weekend to check and one of the thermostats went out! Don’t know how to tell the company for warranty!

I liked the way the heater fit in the casing with ease. The original one lasted over 18 years, hope I get the same life from the replacement.

I bought this product based on the ratings but after three months, it stop working. This product is not worth the time or the money to purchase. And you can’t seem to find any phone number or email to get any kind of support whether it costs $10, $20 or $50. It’s way too expensive to just throw that money away on a product that will not work.

My Maytag dryer quit heating up so we looked up the heat element part number and found it on Amazon for 1/3 of the Maytag price and it fixed my dryer perfectly! Removing the bad one and replacing it was a bit of a chore but my son got it done and now I have a working dryer again . Highly recommend!
