This is a nice little gem IF YOURE IN THE RIGHT MOOD
Christ he 4th wall breaks to tell us that we are the problem and hes right no one can enjoy anything anymore this movie was a friggin trip, I loved it I've never been more shocked at a series of events unfolding so quickly, all these negative reviews go to show people only care about one thing and one thing only, their cookie cutter expectations for a movie. No I'm not cast no I'm not crew I'm a 23 year old movie buff who found a gem. Is this movie for everyone? Heck no, it's a movie about loss and unnerving dementia settling in. It's dark and dark some more and then dark again. If you want to watch a movie where all you say is WTF for an hour and a half, boom you found it babySummary: People dont get it and that's just sad

It's Not Here To Give You What You Want
Too often, we know what's going to happen in the world. Everything is predictable in our lives and in our films of every genre. This is .... not that. So yeah, a lot of negative reviews because when we want a comedy or a horror or whatever kind of movie people get annoyed when they don't get what they wanted. This is more like one of those interesting experimental films you watched back in college with your film buff friends BUT WITH GREAT PRODUCTION QUALITY and actual depth! For a while it's one of the dime a dozen "young urban woman loses job and boyfriend and makes small plan that ends up changing her life" with a soundtrack of chanted empowerment rappy-dance songs that talk about pussy power. In places it's jump-out startling scary. There's some slow burn kind of dark deep end of life reflection and madness. The opening scene is actually beautifully shot and then the filming has a different (less theatrical) look, with some flashes of Lady GaGa video and then some classic slasher movie scenes.... I guess what I am trying to say is I'm a 46 year old guy who is past his cool experimental years and watching weirdness for the sake of experiencing weirdness isn't something I have time to do anymore. But for whatever reason, this movie succeeds in being all of these things while still working as a simply watchable, funny, surprising and unique piece of film. I'm quite impressed with it, honestly and I hope you give it a chance.

was this supposed to be thought provoking or Ironic?
Says it all in the title. This movie is completely Tone Deaf. I didn't really enjoy any of it. It's not the worst movie I've ever seen though, so at least I'm not angry that it took up an hour or so of my life.As an "Elder Millennial" no one I know is actually like this and as my parents being baby boomers, this movie is ridiculous in it's claims that these two generations act like this, think these things and are these things, period.I get it's supposed to be a horror comedy, but I never laughed once. I only shook my head and said to myself well, this is just dumb. I could have went on in a more eloquent way with this review, but I feel like my IQ dropped 10 pts after watching this garbage

Boring Senseless
I made it a little over half way. Someone told me it was good. I love horror flicks. I was bored and had to turn it off. Patrick's rants seemed a little too close to current day crazies. It wasn't entertainment. Murders maybe anti-woman, maybe just anti-person and definitely senseless.

I personally found it a great blend of comedy/suspense
Robert Patrick steals the show IMO, when he breaks the fourth wall the movie is hilarious. Amanda has some great stuff too - overall awesome film!
