CRL GN105P Gunther Premier Plus Ultra Low VOC Mirror Mastic, 10.1 oz Cartridge

Great product recommended by our glass repair guy.

Used this to mount an old, but pristine condition, beveled edge mirror to a bathroom wall. We were really nervous about damaging the mirror finish on the back. This is a permanent, custom installation and any error or defect would be disastrous to the project. After a lot of research I picked this product. It had a good tacky hold and was set well enough in 24 hours to need no additional support. Three weeks after application it appears this adhesive did not damage the mirror. Super product!

The stuff was old could not Get it out of the tube. Had to cut get open.

Worked great to secure two bathroom beveled edge mirrors. There was no bleed through that occurred through the mirror plating on the back side as others have mentioned with other mastic's.This stuff is almost like a silicone or butyl type rubber adhesive when it dries. I've pulled off old mirrors in the past that were secured with some type of green mastic from over twenty years ago and if you were careful and pulled with consistent pressure you could get the mirror off the wall without breaking it. That type of mastic (whatever it was) staid very firm but still pliable. This stuff is really permanent when it dries and if your substrate is clean you would be hard pressed to get the mirror off without breaking it (which in most cases is what you want). The manufacturer states to use mirror support during and after the adhesive dries but as long as you have a good bond you wont need support after it dries.

Product is great, order was scheduled to arrived by August 5, 2016 never came until the 12th of August. Needed product for strip mirrors and it worked very well. Very sticky product you will need gloves. Some adhesive did get on the mirrors, but if you use dawn dish liquid and warm water right away it comes right off.

I did not get a nozzle on the end of the tube. I had to dig the mastic out in order to use it. But it does seem to stick good.

Wanted to have a frameless mirror that stood out from the wall about an inch, but not pay big money. Plan, build my own, use a inexpensive beveled edge mirror, make a mount that attached to the back of the mirror, only issue was how to attach the wood mount, after a little research I found this product, result... this was exactly what I needed, after making my mount, I glued this to the back of the mirror and let it dry according to the directions and the result... I now have the mirror and look I wanted for about $30. Mirror has been up over 2 months and is still as solid as the day I mounted it.
