Works Perfectly for my '24 Maverick Hybrid
Works perfectly for my '24 Maverick even though the smart search tool says it's not compatible. Great price! Couldn't find a local locksmith or dealer to cut it for me. Finally found an out of town Ford Dealer who cut it for free! Had to drive 30 minutes, but well worth it. Was able to program this by myself because I have 2 factory keys. Insert each Old key separately and turn to the run position, wait 3 seconds turn off and pull each of them out. Finally insert new key, turn and wait for the confirmation on the driver info screen. Had to do it twice, but got the "successfully programmed" confirmation on the second try with this procedure. Saved over $300 dollars by doing it myself. I did have an issue with the battery being DOA on delivery so the lock/unlock wouldn't function, but Amazon sent a replacement and I swapped out the battery at no charge. Works perfectly now. Super Happy to have a backup.

Excellent back up to my main keys
Perfect 3rd key, if you have 2 factory keys this is so easy to program. I was also fortunate that my local FORD dealer cut the key for free, i hear anywhere from $10-50 is normal to cut key. So all in I'm under $35 programmed.Key looks and feels exactly like OEM key, just no FORD logo on back. Do need 2 factory keys to program, I have 2 but my company keeps one at office and I like to have my own backup. To program take first OEM key turn to on for 2-3 seconds, do same with second OEM key with only few seconds in between keys, then immediately put in this new key in and turn to on for 2-3 seconds then back off and pause, doors should lock, pull key out, put new key back in and vehicle should start.Could not be happier with product at this point, only had a week, but working like a champ.

Worked for 18 months then died completely
After programming and cutting the key worked great for 18 months then left me stranded out of town when the chip inside the key failed. Cost me over $1,100 in additional expenses due to key failure. Bye an original Ford OEM key, it costs more upfront, but you don't have to worry about it leaving you stranded.

Works great very affordable.
To buy a key fob and have it programmed straight from the dealer can be several hundred dollars I purchased this key fob online for a 2019 f150 took it to the dealer and for the low price of $100 they programmed it and cut the key and it works fabulously. Saved me no less than $400. Thank you I highly recommend this product

Will work on 2018 f150 im surprised and happy it functions all buttons worked.
I was skeptical about this key and whether it would work or not. I got one of those mobile locksmiths and he cut it and programed it in 10 minutes worked good both the key and the buttons. Really glad it worked I own a 2018 f150. The only reason i didnt rate a 5 star is that the key got stuck 2/10 times i inserted and take out. But other then that im glad it worked out. Will buy another if i need to.

Saved me hundreds of dollars…
Trying to replace a Ford key (inexpensively) is a challenge and a nightmare, and I truly thought that the dealership had me by the “bleeps”! This includes the fact that some Ford dealers are going to charge you a different price for the programming. I had 1 local dealer tell me a Ford key would be $160 + $130 for programming. Another dealer told me the key was $238 + $65 for programming… they say, “Yeah… The keys are just that expensive.” Well, clearly they’re NOT. I paid $26.50 for this key in 2021, and had it cut for free. Through the use of a Forscan tool, I was unsuccessful in programming the key. I finally broke down and took it to the ($65 programming) dealership. To my astonishment, they got it programmed and didn’t take advantage of Ford’s ridiculous key scam.Total $ for 1 programmed 2018 F-150 XL “STX” key… just under $100!Now tell me Ford… why do you insist on charging $160 - $238 for a $30 key?GREED!

Its a lot cheaper than going to the dealer...for now...
The blank key blade requires a laser cutter, so don't expect to be able to take this to home depot or somewhere like that to copy the key blade. You need to find a specialist who can laser cut keys. This service cost me about $50 bucks, more than the cost of fob itself, but still cheaper than going to the dealer. However, my fob battery died after about 4 weeks. So either it had a low battery from sitting all this time before I bought it or this fob has a drain on the battery over time. The plastic tab that holds in the battery is very thin and mine snapped in the process of changing the battery. I folded up a piece of material to sandwich against the new battery to keep it making contact before reassembling the fob. Fob battery died while I was out and about; THANK GOD I had a spare factory key on me so I could start the truck. If you unlock the door with the blade and your fob battery is dead, you cannot start the truck and you cannot stop the alarm! The blade needs pried out with a fingernail to deploy, it does not snap open when you push the button like factory. The buttons on the fob seem very loose like they are not attached well. There is no Ford logo on the other side. It just feels like a knock off and cheaply made. Self-programming the fob was a breeze though.Again, we'll see how long the battery lasts. As a 3rd key to serve as a spare it does the job, I just wonder on its long term durability. But still cheaper (for now) than going to the dealer.
